Venom33, I do believe that WOS is a little better than Silsbee, but to claim that the Stangs had an off night was the reason the game was so close and not the fact that it was Silsbee that the Stangs were playing against, is really getting old. I guess these last 3 years that these two teams have played each other were close because the Mustangs just so happen to have an off night, wow what a coincidence. : No Silsbee just plays us tough, perieod.

i love the faith you have in our team... we had a HORRIBLE offensive night... the defense can make the tackles needed, they showed that in the 2nd half... they did the SAME thing during the Kountze game. only difference is that the offense couldn't get going during silsbee... but think what yall want. i will continue to have my faith and believe that BC can win and compete with any team on the schedule. Dude ? Are you seriously that delusional ? WOS is taking down proven 4A teams and BC is struggling to make par with teams in their own district. This will be a blow out. I like your blinded enthusiasm. however, at some point reality will set in. im not gonna say BC will win, its not Friday night yet. but IMO Silsbee is a better team than WOS and they only scored 21 on us... i really do think BC can compete with these guys, and Friday night will either prove me right or make a liar of me... we'll see... How many times have you seen WOS play this year?

I agree that BC defense played better in the second half but it was more of Silsbee's offensive ineptness, bad snaps, and costly penalties that kept them from doing anything productive in the second half, not so much the Card defense. I agree, the Cards showed alot of grit and determination in that second half. BTW, if BC plays as well or even better than what they did in the second half last night, WOS still wins this one by 4 td's. BC 7 WOS 44 i disagree... i say the cards get the upset. 21-14 BC ;D gotta have faith in my team and believe I admire you having faith in your team but your prediction is with your heart and not your head. This is one of those that I love. I understand it's not for everyone and the people that try it and their kids aren't ready for it are not going to be happy. My kids are 16 months apart but two baseball season. This is the only way they could ever play on the same team. My youngest played 9U in select baseball as a 7 year old. The only problem I see in doing this is it will never allow my youngest to have his day in the sun or his day or season to be one of the better kids on the team. He is pretty but not good enough to be one of the best on the team when he is playing up two seasons. I personally love this rule.

suprisingly that coming from you Big E was a good post.. Sometimes kids that are the coaches son suffer because the coach is so worried about what the parents think.Some coaches are harder on there kids then anyone else.I have called different plays at the goalline for my kid not to get the ball ,so there wouldn't be favortism.But that's not fair to the coaches son when a coach does that.It's a touchy subject.. This is a touchy subject. Not all of the time but most of the time the coach's soon may be a little more advanced because he spends more time practicing with his dad. Maybe his dad has a job that allows him the opportunity to be off so he can practice with his child. Which in turns makes him or her a little more advanced than the child that his dad works 12 hour day. I hope this came out right. Again it is not fool proof but it is the case in some situations. I'm sure I will get blasted for this comment but it is true. Just not in all situations.

It has been explained that it is legal. That doesn't make it right. Let me say this again for all of you that aren't reading the whole thread. My children don't go to that school. It was a conversation about something that I didn't understand.

I think we that are on here arguing about 11 and 12 year old football are the butt heads. That should clear it up for you. We are the adjective and they are the verbs, I think.

Some in the LCM community have not always agreed with a few of the decisions made by the board and administration, but you can say that about almost any district anywhere. Football is king in Texas...that's plain, simple, and easy to understand. Football and all other sports are extracurricular activities and enhance a kids high school years. The school board's and administration's top priority and responsibility is to solidify the academic standings of the school district for the kids of that district. They are up to standards on that. The football program is definitely in trouble at LCM and the board certainly plays a part in correcting that, but it will take even the "right guy" a while to turn it around. Why would a "quality coach" be drawn to LCM? I agree that the board and all of the administration have done a great job solidifying the academic standing at LCM. They should be commended for that. I'm not sure you can draw a quality coach at this time. I may be wrong but I think you are going to have to get a young energetic maybe first time head coach to take the job. Maybe an alumni. BINGO! Now is when the board comes into play and it's their responsiblity to find the best possible person for the district. td for LCM school board ;D

I'm not sure he had a problem with what you said but how you said it. Your last post was delivered much better than the first one. I wasn't speaking for anyone that was just how I took your two post about the same subject.
