Would he receive DAEP before a trial? Not sure how that works. By law if a student in the State of Texas get's arrested, felony or not, the school has be notified by the arresting agency. Action's taken by the school depend on what kind of disciplinary rules/regulations the school has. With it being an aggravated robbery charge the school may deem the subject a danger to the students and faculty and SHOULD not allow the subject back on campus until the disposition of the case, but again thats up to the school administration. Can't wait to see how this will turn out. It's nice to have someone that knows the facts.

thanks....all I can say is speed,speed,speed..very good host and alot of good kids on both teams...one WOS team will come up and hit you right in the mouth, and the other will spread you out and you dont know what is coming until its too late...Great job!! We appreciate all of the comments. It's good to see kids just go out and play. The Pirates were very well coached and respectful as well. If the parents were left out of it there never would be a problem in youth athletics. And yes I am a parent. Great job by both team. Good luck.

Well that is the morals, or lack thereof, of a majority of the black youth (and more and more whites as well) today. Don't work and save for anything...just steal it. Don't try to make good grades in school, just get out of school and steal or deal drugs. Go to a Marshall Middle School dance sometime and you'll see what I'm talking about with the lack of morals among the black youth (wearing pants that hang down to their knees, wearing shirts with marijuana on them, wearing belt buckles that say P-I-M-P, acting like they are humping one another on the dance floor, etc.). Also, what's even more pathetic, the leaders of the school condone it by not stopping it. Sorry, this is a sports forum...I'll get off of my soapbox. So you justed assumed that this young man is black. The article never said what color he is and does it matter. A crime is a crime. Why did you feel the need to make it a race thing? They have 1000 buses on stand by in San Antonio. I think 5 or 6 C130's. I'm not sure that is the right number but I think they are the huge cargo planes that you drive the buses on. It's very interesting listening to the meetings.

9 year old kids that throw 40 are a dime a dozen. ESPN said the league was 8-10. Do they not have 10 year olds that throw harder than 40? We have them in league ball that throw almost 60. Not only that they said this kid has never hit anyone. The kid I had that threw close to 60 might hit you on any given pitch, which is why he couldn't pitch all the time. If he hasn't ever hit anyone then he isn't throwing inside enough.

Regardless of the field condition, I hope WOS fans dodn't make excuses. As long as both teams play on the same field then it's fair. We had a few fans make excuses last year about the LCM game. I hope that doesn't happen this year. If you win by 1 or 100 you still only get 1 win.

The same can't be said for Nederland's field. It is a mess. I don't see it being in good shape for Friday night's game. We didn't play very well last year on LCM's messy field, so maybe that's what they were thinking. Or maybe it was just that LCM played really good. If you go by how both teams played the rest of the season I would say it was a little of both.
