Bronco/Cat Fan, I agree "Rudder shot lights out and played a good overall game." There were a couple of scoring "turnarounds" that really hurt Barbers Hill, particularly when BH's post player (Charli) was substituted out the game. Personally, I thought the Rudder game was one of Charli's best games, along with several other BH players who stepped up and made big shots. This young team had an awesome season and I am really proud of them. As a fan/parent, I would probably be content with our play against Rudder; however, as someone who knows better, our defensive play over the last several years continues to hurt us in big games. Rudder is a very good team, played good overall basketball; and once again defeated a BH team that I personally believe should not have lost. Great season Lady Eagles. You guys had an awesome season!!!!

Clear Springs v North Shore in the finals. This should be a very good game!

If my memory serves me correct, it was the 2000-2001 season when Brenham defeated Crosby in the Regional Final. The Crosby Lady Cougars were led by Shondra Bush, who was viewed/ranked as one of the top 25 players in the country. She was an amazing high school player who actually sparked my interest in girls basketball.

Glad to see Clear Springs finally playing ball. Maybe they will get another shot at North Shore in the finals.

Interesting what "confidence" can do for players and team. Right now, Crosby is playing with much confidence and swagger....and is on a mission. Congrats Lady Cougars!

My first time seeing Clear Falls this year, but I am thinking both 6-A teams are much better than they played tonight, particularly North Shore. Hopefully by the time play is in the Campbell Center we will have a solid team to represent Region 3 with Duncanville being the team on deck. :-/

I see good things happening for this young team in the next two years. But to win that ultimate prize by being the last team standing, they are going to have to learn to keep playing...to keep grinding...work their way back in games when they are out - even when down by 20 or more points. Last year in the Campbell Center, we were embarrassed and we quit. This year, keep grinding and don't ever quit.

This should be a very good game.

It's been said it's tough to beat a good team a second time. The girls are going to handle their business!

Defensively, Beaumont Central may apply traps the full length of the court. Humble when pressured, dribble...dribble...dribble...dribble down the right side line. The better team won and earned the privilege to meet Fort Bend Bush. :-/

Well, BH's young team got it's first taste of the big crowd play-off atmosphere tonight; good win. But, from here on out, will have to leave the first half jitters at home.
