I saw at the Goose Creek Memorial game that she and her coaching staff did not have the swagger they've had in recent years. I have no doubt there's more to the story. I trust coach(es) and Ozen will regroup and be back strong next season.

I am a fan of the movie Secretariet, so allow me to borrow several lines from the movie: Relative to BH's big: "You are about to see something you aint ever seen before....so get ready! Get ready!" And, after BH's big draws double and triple team, she's gonna tell her guards: "I've run my race, now you run yours." (Hoping coach will let them play) Come 4th quarter: "BH is moving like a tremendous machine!" May both teams play hard and leave it all out on the floor! :-)

Ozen almost lost to Goose Creek Memorial when they started playing not to lose instead of playing to win. They were fortunate that GCM allowed them to pass the ball around and run off two minutes at the end of the game.

The #1 seed going into a stall against the #4 seed up by 10? Wow! Yea, that's likely to cost ya!

Look at my lol above. ;-) Lumberton "should" lose by 20+.

Yelling at the refs from the opening tip off...lol? I can't ever see that being beneficial "to me" in close games. If, for whatever reason, I felt compelled to "go there" with the ref(s), I couldn't be surprise or upset when calls continue not going my way. Are there officials who take into consideration a team's tendency to be aggressive and foul? I think it would be safe to assume, "yes," at least a few. So, generally speaking, not too bad to be in position to make one free throw and win the game.

Unfortunately, games are not always officiated equally. Part of basketball is "adjusting to the officiating" in spite of the disparity in calls. Early, I learned it was unproductive to remain "upset with how the refs called the game," and more productive to make whatever necessary adjustments to minimize the harm.
