6'1" Summer Almedia (#42), who moves very well for her size; and pretty good guard play. I hadn't watched many 2A games, but both teams played well and would beat many decent 5A teams.

Liberty Frisco are Vista Ridge are two nice teams..... The game is at the speed of most 6-A battles. The winner against Canyon in the Final (first half Liberty Frisco has the edge for me) should be a good game. Nite all!

Canyon's coach was smart. He used Crosby's strength against them by spreading the floor. The only adjustment Crosby could have made was "each defender for herself." Crosby continued to help, but could not recover because of Canyon's spacing. Canyon passed and cut...never ever gave up spacing...waited for the layup or the wide open three. And, Canyon's transition defense was A+ and didn't give up any fast break layups....Even in transition...had 2-3 defenders cutting Crosby off from the basket. Didn't matter who played Canyon...if the 3 ball aint falling.....probably same result. Great season Crosby!!!!!! Never gave up and played hard until the last seconds clicked off the clock.

Even though it's over....Crosby continues to play hard! Canyon has Crosby so spaced out defensively.....
