My screen name is a tribute to my three boys, who went through the H-D program and came out fine young men. They had a great coach, Barbay.

One thing is for sure, HD will be playing in Abe Martin next weekend. Alto still has to get by Harleton to get there.

Lets just get a win and rest the starters, with no injuries to anyone.

You two sound like an old married couple. I hope you dont start a fight in the stands Friday Night at Homecoming.

Pain that might be true, but he also had talent, size and speed. And lets not forget a large squad of players. A part of Copelands success was those players were hitting the weights during the summer and playing in open 7 on 7 tournaments with bigger schools on Saturdays.

I am just glad to see 55 back on here. Its been a little to quite. He can push peoples buttons in a second. There is truth in what he is saying. You will see a big change, how big a change, will be seen the first one or two games. The HD vs WH is always a good game. It should be played the last game of the season.

If you coached Pee wee in liberty that you know who I am. I started coaching with Bua (liberty) and Sanders (dayton) took a short break and have been back for 2 years. I have grandsons playing now. Just telling the truth. I am a Fregia, I went to Hardin, have 3 sons that went to HD and I have grandsons that will be Bobcats and we live in Raywood. Two of the players at Liberty HS are Fregia's and two more coming into jr. high. These are just the ones I can speak of.

Dont forget Daisetta, Raywood and a few in Liberty.

I can only report on what I have seen in HD as of late and it looks good. I have seen the football players attitude change and even seen the school getting involved. The field house looks great, the weight room is organized and the field is well groomed. It has been a long time since I have seen a HC step in and make the positive changes that Coach Finney has made in his short time at HD. When a teachers report to the HC that the attitude of the players have chaged, that is a statement of great leadership/discipline. That is what it is all about. When its all over, that is the two things you wont to see any player walk away with. Leadership and Discipline.

Now and then you have to chip off the rust to see the holes. Sometimes change is good for everyone. The New coach will do fine in HD and the kids will be ready to play. There is BIG talk in HD and the kids are getting hungry for a play-off run.

Yes I agree, some years back Lucky Gamble was set to coach at HD and at the last minute changed his mind.

Interviews are complete and the H-D School Board will meet next Tuesday March 27.  I have not heard if the board will Interview or hire next week.
