  1. From what I've heard they aren't wasting any time either.. taking care of business EARLY and arent't wasting valuable days..
  2. Well as far as weak Jasper and Silsbee would give ya'all a really good game with y'alls team next year and I hoep BC gets another chance at y'all next year
  3. I'm not sure of how things went with LC-M this year, but I knwo when they schrimmaged BC at the beginning of the year they were on fire.. I'd like to BC and LC-M next year in a regular season game
  4. alright what are those WO-S kids taking to get so fast?? HCG? Winstrol?
  5. maybe not 2000, but I woudl take my chances with '01 and '02 punkin... West Orange would've definantly had to be on top of thier game punkin..
  6. What you forgot to put is that y'all would have three losses against BC if y'all played them in 2000,2001 and 2002.. Peebles would've ran for days..
  7. They didn't quit they never started this season at all... I m not sure but Id guess to start getting ready for Baseball early
  8. Yeah last year's Bridge City's Sophomores on JV went 8-2 and made it to the district championship vs WO-S.. this year they went 0-10, but I think they're gonna surprise some people next year when it's a level playing field..
  9. no I'm a parent, posting around an hour before the game starts should make that clear..
  10. holy crap i never said BC was perfect.. but any team has a chance if the other team goes in thinking they're the New England Patriots.
  11. 1. Jasper 2. Silsbee 3. Bridge City
  12. BC handled Thompson pretty well in Summer League, with virtually the same team they have now..it's too bad about 3 junior that were Soph's on BC's varsity last year aren't playing this year..
  13. bc DID win... not sure of the score but it was something like in the 60's for BC and 40's for Lumberton..
  14. Back to the original topic... I believe in the saying "any giving night".. BC puts enough points on the board to win games.. ( 35 VS Orangefield, 26 vs Hardin-Jefferson,26 vs Kirbyville, in the 20's vs Hamshire Fannett).. They just need to get thier defense down..to pull the upset BC is going to HAVE to wrap up WO-S players everytime they attempt to make the tackle ( West Orange is too fast to let free!!), and BC will certaintly need to gang tackle alot ( 11 men to the ball every play)... and they can't have any penalties or turnovers (especially interceptions) and must take any and every mistake mustangs make, (fumbles) also they need a good special teams game... If BC comes out pumped up,especially those Seniors they have playing thier last game, stand tall not intimidated they can upset WO-S, anything's possible.. 8) They have a great opprotunity and I hope they battle 'till the last whistle!! GO CARDINALS!!!
  15. Everyone's staying optimistic around BC it looks like the coaches think BC can win this one and so do the kids so if they get a GOOD week of pracitce and correct some stuff in I think they pull this one off BC 24 Jasper 20
  16. hey man Just be in Lumberton, 7:30 sharp... BC's talking on the field, not on here..
  17. someone needs to show that o-line to not stand up when the ball's hiked and stay low..and the running back needs to put a shoulder into the defenders instead of running striaght up...
  18. they loolk like an nfl team now..
  19. those are hideous..
  20. that doesn't sound bad...
  21. I think we'll be good with a good solid week of practice.. we dont have many seniors, but the ones we do have are GOOD.. Wedekind, McNeil,Kosh,Carlton..we need them to step up this Friday and we'll be fine..
  22. yeah does anyone know about this??
  23. The Spread should work for most High School offenses, as long as you have a Quarterback that can handle it.you have to have a good offensive line, one or two capable wide recievers. The spread is a high reward, high risk offense if you ask me. The high reward is it's easy to get first downs, and it keeps the defense second guessing most times, the high risk are throwing interceptions, and having more turnovers on bad snaps, etc. I also think that the spread isn't good in bad weather, the ball is wet and a little heavier to throw and thats when the reciever's tend to drop more passes than usual and that can hurt you ina close ball game. THe quarterback has to have speed, and has to contain his posie and not get rattled and just play his game. I like the spread for Bridge City...
  24. BRIGHT FUTURE FOR BC!
