Anahuac head coach went and hired a coach who just happen to have a son who was a freshman QB. Smart move coach.

When does Woodville get their props?

Another new rule on kickoffs is the kicking team can only have one foot behind the 35 yard line when kicking off. When you kick from the 40 the most running start you get is 5 yard running start.

Young players getting playing time. 3 of Newton’s JV did not play Thursday night so they could play against warrens varsity. Coach also building for next years team. Good smart coaching. Should get more playing time this week. A lot of young talent coming up, should be really good in 2years.

Some people are miserable and want every one else around them to be miserable. The tongue is a sinful weapon..

One thing for sure, WO-S band and drill team put on one of the best half time performances I have ever seen. All the people on the Newton side was amazed by their performance. Reminded me of years ago when the red hussars from pt. Arthur took the field.

My statement above “not saying you are a good team “ was mis typed and was meant to say ‘ not saying you are not a good team” . Hope you go on to prove you are state caliber. People earn props by going that extra mile in the playoffs. good luck in the playoffs

Last year you said how great you were and headed to state until the second round when you got donkey stomped by Lorena 50 to 6. Not saying you are a good team but you have not proven you are state caliber. How many times have you made it to state? how many times have you made it to semi finals. How many times have you made it to regional.

No matter who WO-S chose as a coach it would be a downgrade. Coach T was the best because he learnt under the best. They were the master and pro o type for all coaches. I would not give up on WO-S yet. Wishing WO-S the best in the future.
