A freshman (I think he is a freshman) QB that has exceptionally strong arm and accurate with his throws. I do not think HJ can stay with Anahuac.

It was a good game. Newton had to many holding penalties. Neece had a good game plan. I talked with coach neece before the game and he said his freshman QB will be a D1 QB. This kid is the real deal. Good luck Anahuac in the playoffs.

You might look at the top of this thread and see who started this. Beside from all the BS Anahuac is a quality program and it will be a good game. You have one of the best coaches in tx. -he was our OC when we won state and we would not have won state without him.

Just read in one projection pole where Anahuac is a 15 point favorite. Poor ol Newton we just don’t have much this year. Nothing to see here.

LCM beat them 49 to 20 last year. They play mostly weak teams. Jasper will win by 3 TDS.

Jasper had lots of speed. QB can throw the ball. Wide outs are fast. Jasper run sweeps early and made big yardage. They Abandoned the end runs probably because they did not need to work on that part of their game. It is a scrimmage to point out your weaknesses. Jasper will be just fine. Don’t sell Nederland short. I think WO-S wins but not in a blowout. All the BS about the senior leaving.It was because some of the sophomores were beating the seniors out of their positions.

Newton/ KV JV started on one end of the field with the on the other end but lightening started and after waiting for about an hour they called it off. and man did it rain...
