Many ranked no. 1 in class 2A. La. Has 5 classes instead of 6 like Texas Many grades 9-12 is 315. Jasper 9-12 is 702.

Louisiana has 5 classes in football. Their 2A would be more equal to our 3A. They are ranked no. 1 in class 2A.

Most stores have a person that comes one time a week to remove older magazines and put up new ones. So magazines may not be put out for several days. I would think by this Friday they should be out. Thanks to DLiv...I drove to Bridge City Wal mart and got mine.

Good to hear from you longballs. We will be in your town the second game to play woodville. Look me up, I will be on the track behind the team. Don’t think Woodville will have much trouble this year for we have lost all our good players. Wishing Woodville a good year.

Galanor, Loot me up next Friday when EC comes to Newton. I agree EC alway has a good program. I will treat you to cold drink, I will be on the newton side on the track.

Burkeville people, several years ago,left during a hurricane and found jobs and never came back. Public housing was in Newton before that. Newton’s school numbers have been dropping. Hopefully the bio refr. Will create enough jobs to keep Newton in 3A-2.

Newton’s numbers looked good for 3A-2 numbers. No size, no speed, nothing to see here.

Teams have players that leave the program every year, you just don’t hear about It most of the time. Newton has two for sure and may be one more player at this time that played last year that chose not to play this year.This is nothing new to Nederland or any other team, coaches deal with this every year. Don’t worry about those that left, the team is better off without them. Support the ones that stayed and move on.
