Puzzled Catman? How can a team, a program develope and get strong when the main focus is football. when the head girls coach is also the head football coach. 1st b-ball game is next tuesday, football will not be over until at least next friday. HD athletics is a joke.

So Mr. George- what your saying is USE the kid for however long you need him then when your done throw him back to where he came from. Sounds crappy if that what you mean.

What about a coach taking a kid that continually screws up - babies him, overlooks all the problems, all the embarassments he causes the team - then when the season is over send him back to the crap pile like he never existed - well at least until next season.

what about when kids do wrong and you ignore just for your own gain or your teams gain. i'm not talking about being tardy for class.

If you have to practice to win - then count HD out. Girls b-ball takes a back seat to everything. Finally when the school has some talent - they are just going to piss it away.

ok sorry for the NFL comment. childish on my part. Barbay was not the greatest coach in the world - But coahes are never going to please everyone or do things the way that we would have them done - you have to step into his shoes and do the job. As far as Slack being a great bobcat - true. But that doesn't make you a great coach. Yes HD won district, but look at the district , other than WH they are all horrible. Pre-district record is not great. Scholls go thru highs and lows with talent - lets see where HD is in 2009? 2008 - District champs Again!!!!!!!!!!! 2009 and beyond ----- well, better enjoy those 2007 and 2008 district champ t-shirts.

Last year is over - don't WH will have to worry about the coin toss this year

White is not in there because the coaches have not sent in the stats. Great coaches?????????????/ I know there is more to the team than just White, but heck get the kid some recognition.

if HD shuts down the run - HD wins. if WH shuts down the pass - WH wins. if both of these take place - this is going to be one #ELL of a battle. Good Luck to both teams

LHS alumni- QUIT! A loss is a loss no matter if its by 1 or 50. The only sport liberty beat trakington in last year was football - so you bring up history. What is liberty's history, oh scholar?

Splendora guy stick to the bleachers. Leave the coaching to the coaches. Can you bring me a drink? Liberty has good athletes, however their believing that they are great is a downfall as with most schools. The coaching staff is poor at best, when games come down to the wire like liberty had this year - coaching should step up and win those games.

1st game november 13th, way to go HD staff - these girls should be more than ready thanks to all the practice.
