Who is going to be the girls head coach. Heard rumors that melancon would leave if they hired slack. Watched them play burkeville in the playoffs, not much of a coach, gripe at a bench player when she messes up but not a starter, laughing on the bench, like she's one of the girls.

You know how it is. Talk to someone who's kid doesn't get to play and barbay is the worst coach in the world. I think he was good, really turned some kids around.

I've heard that several athletes from liberty have quit football because of the weight program. One kid was hurt last year -- knee injury from weight lifting.

Please correct me if i'm wrong. last night only 6 of the 7 board members were present - they voted on slack last night - tied 3-3. The next vote is July 9th on someone they did not say who. Is there any way they could try to re-vote on slack before the 9th (with all board members present). Doesn't seem fair to the others but is it possible? School boards should not be allowed to vote on things of this manitude without all members present. If you not going to be there - then don't run for the position!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said Swami. Home town is not always best. They already have one hometown boy coaching at the junior high level- and he ain't the best in the business, no where close. BUT, you can't get rid of him.

Don't worry about who the best back will be from HD - they're probably wont be a football season. May be the school board members could play, since thay can't come to an agreement on an AD.

Once again the Athletes of HD are being harmed by school board members on a "high horse". Instead of doing what is right for the athletes, they're more concerned about personal issues and who will get the best of who. ????

HD backs will be tough and fast.
