[/quote] You are correct.  Anahuac was kneeling the ball running out the clock and Jefferson HC burned all 3 TO's on 1st-3rd down.  Anahuac called a TO after Jefferson burned their last and drew up a play to ge the first down but didn't.  Jefferson's first play was called to Jefferson's sideline and when the tackle happened all heck broke loose. Let's leave it at that and no bashing of coaches.  It will not be tolerated!

[/quote] It's not all on Jack as you think it.  I understand what you mean because I drove from Port Arthur to Lufkin and back to Beaumont not getting back until after midnight and had to get up and be back at work.  Both HC's have to agree on a site and date.  That's the way it worked this week and the way they are hashing it out with Le Vega's  coaches at this moment...or in a few.

Can someone hang on to the ball?  I had to read the posts twice to make sure my eyes weren't fooling me. ;D

[/quote] The coaches like the Thur games because it creates a short week so the boys will stay focused and the coaches can go scout potential opponents on Friday.  Yes, it's harder for the fans but not so much to the kids that play and those in the band.

Fairfield is a team that was 1-9 last yr and 9-1 so far this yr with the same group.  Very weak district from what I've been told.  Starting to look like an inflated record.
