Not knocking the kids at WOS but if you come out with too much emotion it can drain you if it isn't controlled early.  It has happened before.  Something to watch for. Mike you are right in that this is also a HUGE game for a Soph. QB to make his first start against a highly ranked team.

Hey Ryker, it seems that Jones is begining to come around as a place kicker...if they can keep it up with the PAT's it will make them even more dangerous running out of the swinging gate.

WOS 28 K-Ville 14 [/quote] IMO the game will be closer than the score you predict.  Kirbyville is very capable of sustaining long drives....and it's not just Ford that runs the ball.  BC is better than you think....just wait and see.  They did have success running the ball out of the spread against Kirbyville but still couldn't match Kirbyville as a team.  I think AAW is about right on the score but I give Kirbyviille the edge by 6.

Almost there boys!  Now that we have some cooler weather it should help get the wildlife moving a bit!

A Very sad day againg in SE Texas.  I like many only got to see the man standing a mere 50 yards away for 4 yrs. Standing across the field from him made an impact on many young men.  He was an icon for sure and will be greatly missed.  Prayers to the Barbay family, Eagles football program and the community of Newton.  We are all behind you!
