[/quote] Well said Kville_Kats!  Kirbyville needs to stick with the game plan they've had all yr.  Wills Point give up alot of yards and points and if Kirbyville can get off to a good start and sustain long clock eating drives they should handle their business.  The best defense against a spread team is a good running game and in that case Kirbyville is in great shape.  Keep their offense off the field and you're doing your job.  Anyone remember what the Texans did to the Colts in week 1?

[/quote] I don't like to call it against a team that we don't know much about but you have a valid point.  Kirbyville has beaten a solid Coldspring and very good Newton and Bridge City.  Seeing the spread offense that BC ran will help the Cats very much.  Plus I am not sure that their QB is as good all around as Menard was for BC.  That dang Zone Read play and good passing gave Kirbyville fits nd from what I've heard they don't have as good of a running game as BC.  We'll have to see what their O'Line is capable of against Kirbyville's fast and strong front 7.

[/quote] I had this discussion this evening with my father in law.  I knew it was pretty much a done deal that the Giddings game would get cancelled but as far as the Kirbyville game it would be hard to tell.  As Dan said on KFDM this will take a long time to get over and back on the field.  We all know that at some point they need to be back out there but only time will tell.  When dealing with such raw emotion and it coming from teenagers it makes it that much harder.  Neither of the 2 games matter at all.  No one cares about football right now.  It's all about taking care of the family and the team!  Extended prayers!
