  1. I understand that they were crushed after the loss to Mason, but there is no reason they should have given up to Wall. No matter if you get 2nd or 3rd they should have made a statement in that match. just my .02
  2. Hey Mike, you like all the vids on youtube as much as I do? IT's even better seeing them at Kyle before a game!
  3. I take no gifts of sympathy! You forget young one that with age comes wisdom I promise you I can give you all you want on the court...I will win at any cost! ;D Just like the owner of my company says at the company golf tournments..."If you ain't cheatin', you cheatin' youself"! lol Remember that when we play again.
  4. I take no gifts of sympathy! You forget young one that with age comes wisdom I promise you I can give you all you want on the court...I will win at any cost! ;D
  5. Yes it was probably not the best assessment, but I don't think he meant it that way. Don't they play Donkey BB?...maybe that was a pour example...don't want PETA climbing down my throat for involving animals in a sport where they are ridden! You don't have to take it out of context.
  6. Mason has a very good tennis program and I believe tennis is the only sport that the school has. At least that is what I heard. Also heard that Mason brought a boat load of kids to RR for the tourn. That is very good that Lane and Cole played that well! Wasn't that the only match that they lost from Reg. all the way to State?
  7. Yes they do! Reports that I got from when they were at State Team Tennis were that they were dominating in all facets. These 2 young men have been playing together and taking lessons together for a long while and they know each others game like the back if their hands.
  8. I personally think this idea is great. I used to be a freshy but I am a pure salty now! Don't have a boat, but i know a few people and I've got the trusty ol kayak if need be!
  9. Stefan Jackson-LB-Kirbyville! Nice to see!
  10. As stated in the baseball board...welcome back! I was beginning to wonder if myself and kvillefan1992 were the only fans left! I can't forget about Grizzly62...he been in hibernation for a while too, but he shows up from time to time. Prayers to you and your family!
  11. He will get alot of time but I am not too sure that he will be the premier back off the bat...could be wrong, but will have to wait and see.
  12. Welcome back my man! It's been a while.
  13. I drove down the N levee today and good lord! Horrible isn't the word to descirbe it! I got about 2/3 the way down and came to pretty wet and deep spot that I'd rather not take my Ranger through, not to mention how easy you have to take it all the way except for a few spots. I really want to get my kayak all the way to the end to get out in that flat and do some wading. On the topic of Pleasure Island. Does the sediment pond inside the levee hold reds? I have heard that it does and would really like to hit it in the kayak..nice and protected!
  14. That's funny that you say that you spoke with the director of the UIL....isn't he from Buna? ;D
  15. I see how it is! Go to Kirbyville to broadcast a game and can't even have a fellow broadcaster help out, and I am from K-ville! ;D
  16. What cut? If you mean Rollover, then yes the Corps of Engineers is trying to get the $ from the state to fill it in.
  17. WOW! I can't believe what this guy is thinking! He evidently doesn't know a thing about running a business. Thanks Jordan and Mike for deleting this thread.
  18. I'll be in Del Rio Apr. 24-26 for a spring gobbler hunt/major work weekend. We are getting off the lease there...Going up on $ again and the owner is getting a little too shady...Well be in Roma this weekend to look at a new place.
  19. Ok folks...friendly bantor is one thing, but keep it clean from here on out! This goes for everyone on each side.
  20. I hope...let me rephrase that...believe that Kirbyville can hit faster pitchers. Not only do they have a very good coach that is getting things where they need to be, but he also pitched at Lamar and he's got a pretty lively arm....practice against that in itself will definitely benefit the team.
  21. Thanks for the props Longhorndad & HFfan5! I have yet to see Kville play this yr but am proud of the alma mater. I've heard that Hughes is a Hoover behind the plate.
  22. he really is the #2 pitcher....Crawford is #1... Aaron pitched a great game. The reason why everyone is talking about him is because he has not played since he made all district new comer on 3A. The real talk is Muscgrove batting almost .700. Also the SO Jones is batting almost .600. Batting only a few times usually means that your(BA) is up. just like start off new season with a hit your batting 1000 it goes down there are college and pro's that would love to keep a 700 (BA) but even they cant remember your in high school base ball and getting a big head a[bout people batting that its still fresh season boys and girls not only will that (BA) go down it might just plumit into the ground. Btw if you dont know what (BA) is its batting average Vollye-baller2010 you might want to catch a game and watch Musgrove play. This kid is the real deal! As for Jones kid is also a very good ball player. Aaron is also a great ball player, and yes his freshman yr he was newcomer of the yr in a 3A district as a starting catcher. Arguably the most demanding position on the field!
  23. Bet you liked that didn't you Coop!
  24. Something just hit me. Allman is 39 yrs old....He graduated from Permian, right?...From my calculations he would have been 18 in 1988....the yr that "Friday Night Lights" was chronicled and written! Talking about coming full circle, and must be a little strange in Odessa having the former coach come back, to fill the vacant seat left by one of his former players.....
