  1. You are right...They aren't that big but are quick...Kirbyville has seen this type of offense this year. Both of these teams have speed but with the size advantage that Kville has will help IMO.
  2. I looked at the film and I am going to have to go with Kirbyville by 4 TD's I feel the same way...These were highlights, but the teams they were playing didn't look very good. They probably say the same thing we are. They feel they have better competition out there than we do here in Reg. 3...It's all in opinion. All in all, Kville is just too strong for the Mules.
  3. Great Read...and a great kid to boot!
  4. Offensive you have to consider Aaron Hazlewood QB for Kville...Knocking on 2000 yds passing, 60% Comp, with a 4:1 TD/INT ratio while spearheading Kirbyville to the 2A D1 title game!
  5. Funny you say that about being a pushover...I was the QB for Kville in 98-99...Yeah, we kinda stunk it up in the day, but I'll never forget those days! Ya'll had a good QB that yr. D. White I believe? Thanks for the support! These boys have been battle tested like no other in the playoffs and I think that is something that is in their favor! Reg. 3 was by far the strongest this yr in 2A!
  6. Found a link with a bunch of different highlight clips on Muleshoe. [Hidden Content]
  7. I would be willing to bet there will. They had one for the Arp game which was played in Lufkin, so I would say yes. You might be able to call the admin. office at Kville and ask. They may be a little more help.
  8. I like hearing that from someone who watched the Muleshoe/PP game...That being said, PP was without 14 players...Talked to some of their coaches at the game and that is what they told me.
  9. With stats aside I like Kirbyville also...they just finished a state semi final game by scoring 5 TD's in the 2nd half while allowing 2 in the same time frame...Muleshoe is no pushover, but Kirbyville was tested with a very good passing attack last night and were able to shut it down after the half...All they have to do is contain the passing attack of the Mules and control the clock which they have done all year long...Keep that offense of the field and wear out the defense...Kirbyville by 15!
  10. Stadium info and directions....Nice!!! [Hidden Content]
  11. The game is Sat. 6pm in Grand Prairie...Visitors
  12. Kirbyville will have to step it up on Defense! Muleshoe will throw and their QB is only 1 or 2 TD's away from a State record. I think Kirbyville will have to much Offense and win by 14 though. My head tell me the same thing! We can and i believe shut down their running game, and as long as we play a good man coverage we will contain the passing. Don't have to shut it down, just stop them on at least 2-3 drives and we will win...Just heard that Mules only had 384 total yds...a little over 200 passing...Kirbyville by 15
  13. Coop, who you taking in this one? And be honest!
  14. Another site to look at stats prior to the PP game [Hidden Content]=,local, team
  15. Dang Coop! You beat me to it! I was about to make the topic!

  17. Dang, that is classless. Almost as bad as a coach (twice) going on TV, smirking after a win, and saying "Well, we just didn't play anybody any good". Guess if you dish it out, you have to take it. You are right, but the fans pulling that makes the entire town look bad! When people gripe about a coach saying such words they don't mention the fans or town! If you think that Barbay is classless you have a lot of things to learn! All coaches say things like that!

  19. If they get Refigio....They better get ready! Newton worked them like they weren't expecting it. Could be tired from this one...not to metion the fact they held Dfield scoreless in the 2nd half. Great season Newton Kirbyville is proud of you! Come out next week and support Kville at the title game!
