Kville/HJ back in 98...Had to stand on the track for all the water on the field...was ankle deep all over... it was a fun game to play in though...Hits didn't hurt, because you would slide about 10 yards after htting the ground...that is if you didn't bust you a** trying to make the hit!

It rings hollow just as much as people saying that Newton is as good this year as in years past! Simply not the case! Suppose, Lefty99, just suppose that Newton does beat Kirbyville this year - I realize that that event CAN NOT happen in your reasoning - but just suppose it does. Then Newton will have achieved that feat with a team that is inferior to (not as good as) Newton teams of the past. Then what stamp does that put on Kirbyville? Oh, I know - it was the referees! : I think Silsbee has enough problems keeping their players on the feild maybe you should attend to that cause we dont wont any tigervoice here!! lol Everyone know about the Silsbee player stuff.. Silsbee FOOTBALL in general should be ashamed and made fun of for what happened? How can you call someone classless for pointing that out? Shouldn't you be calling Silsbee's players classless?? AFAIK, the players not arrested and the team in general had nothing to do with that nasty incident any more than the general student body in Silsbee or the citizens of the community. I noticed on that site that they lost to Arp 56-13...lets see how Kville plays this week against the Wolves, and then the comparing will begin between #3 Kville and #1 Arp...Forward note: I am not trying to get things started as far as the comparison between the two teams, but it will happen. So you mean to tell me that woodville has no other home games this year other than kville. I don't buy it!!! from what i understand since corrigan was supposed to be the homecoming game, the only other 3 home games were against newton, kville, and hemphill. hemphill is the last home game which is typically senior night which left the decision up in the air between newton or kville. either way it would not have been good Well it sucks to be them!! Maybe K_Ville will come out and with their Peewee you never know. No not really Woodville dont get happy. Really I just hope Kirbyville plays with class and wins. The thing that worrys me is Kirbyville players reading these post and getting the big head. Lets hope not. I can assure you that Alvarez won't put up with his players posting and looking at these boards! That comes straight from the horses mouth!

What game were you watching? You must have been thinking about the Hemphill QB. Hazlewood was on the money! Agreed! I broadcast the game and he was on cue all night! Especially the long TD pass to Hughey!

In a sense, the first part of your reply is right...some Kville fans are getting a little sure of themselves...as for the teams itself that isn't the case! After watching all but 2 of their games that is far from the truth! They come into every game with a purpose and drive that I haven't seen from a Kville teams in quite some time! I honestly don't think they have let their current success to their heads. Myself along with many people who support this team have high hopes for this season! As long as they continue the way they have been I think they will be fine. We all know that this district isn't the toughest, and it will come down to week 10 to decide the district championship. I just hope that both teams stay healthy leading up to the game!

Oh boy!!! Looks like this will be another tough game to broadcast! Can't wait to see if Kville tries to pitch the shutout...

Having witnessed many of the Kville/Newton games it does need a bigger stadium...Take the Ned/PNG games as far as shear numbers and down size it a little bit...stands are already packed as it is...ppl surrounding the entire stadium watching the game.
