B Jackson is the real deal...when you are recruited by half a doz. DI schools from a school the size of Kville...you are pretty special...not to mention this kid is crazy smart...Something like a 24 on the ACT as a Soph...I believe he is a solid verbal to Rice at this point but I think A&M is still on his radar...As for the future S jackson, L Ford, and F Rhodes are unreal...remember Stephan Jackson in the next couple of years!!!

It wasn't your fault just like it isn't Kville's fault that they are that much better than the majority of the teams in their district. It's all in how you prepare for each game. I can promise you that this team is very well prepared for each game! I was a part of one of the teams that got waxed by Alto one year but they were in the same position as Kville is this year! Newton has done it too, but it's Newton so that's generally means that it's ok! Kville took their far share of it now it is their turn! A team must never go 1/2 speed! That is when people get hurt! If you had a child on this team you wouldn't want them to slow themselves and the game down for the risk of getting hurt! Nothing is wrong with the fact that they are a very good team this year. If you think Kville is running it up on other teams you should look at the thread from a team in Florida that whipped another 91-0. Just once can you give this team the credit that it deserves? No, they haven't won anything yet but they are very good team that has a very good chance to make it to the state championship!

You are right about their QB taking some hits...He is one tough kid...he got up slower and slower but never once acted as if he wanted to quit.

Starters usually get to play for three quarters. They earned it. But when you do that you end up scoring 60 70 points and you get criticized for running up the score so what do you do? Like I have said in a previous thread...danged if you do; danged if you don't! It's a lose-lose situation for Jack.

Thanks...Broadcasting games is a blast and tough all in one! This was only my second game to call and my first as the play by play as I've said. Next week I'll be back at color where I am best at...as for the complaints I laugh at them because those that complain(aka: armchair qb's/backseat drivers) couldn't do any better! ;D I really do appreciate the broadcasts. I know that circumstances arise which does interfere with internet connections. I've had my share of'em. I however, have no clue as to all the work that goes on behind the scenes. sorry, i didn't realize it was the setxsports guys or i wouldn't have said anything. it sounds like 2 color guys actually Sorry to most of you who listened to the game with all the problems...At many times we didn't know whether we were on the air or not so we did what we thought we should do and kept going! Hence the reason you heard so many plugs for sponsors. I tried to recap as much as possible. Everytime we lost signal is when Kville scored! Again, myself and the play by play guy will be back in action next week. Hope you all tune in.

I agree with that...they are and will always be a good team just don't think that they have what it takes this year...and I'm not saying that Kville does either...just think they have a better chance, but who knows! Stranger things have happened.

WOW Newton's D isn't as strong as I thought that it would be. This game was alot closer than the score shows!

Axis meat is great! The deer in Del Rio were not moving very well over the weekend. Just too much difference in the temps. Stayed busy during the night. Everything is unusually green right now! Not hitting the corn that hard, but in a short time they will be fighting for it! Shot at about a 3 1/2 yr old 3 pt. thinking one of the feeder legs was behind him. One shattered arrow and ruined Rage later it wasn't! Had a HUGE Axis 3x3 come in but the landowner doesn't want them to be shot right now! Why I have no idea? Just now starting to move into the lease. $1000 if you you shot a buck! Thought about it really hard but opted not to do it. Had the camera with me but didn't get a pic. The biggest Axis I've ever seen though. A true monster. All in all, it was good to get away from the hustle and bustle of Ike recovery for a few days.
