  1. Here is the exact message I am getting. "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted." I clicked on "help" and got this: "You've encountered error message C00D1197 while using Windows Media Player. The following information might help you troubleshoot the issue. Cannot find the file Windows Media Player cannot find the file. I am clicking on the KJAS "On Air" button and then getting the foregoing messages. Thanks.
  2. Broadcaster, are you getting this game over the air, or the web? I am trying to connect to KJAS and I am getting a "failure to find file" message.
  3. Congrats to both teams on great seasons. HJ, win it all at state! Just like last night, HJ was VERY TOUGH in the last minutes of the game.
  4. Seems like last night when HJ seemed to do nothing right for most of the first half. Then they edged closer right before the half, then poured it on in the second half. Whereas Silsbee did just the opposite, jumped to an early lead, then almost lost it. This game is far from over.
  5. Tonight, both teams looked great at times, and ragged at times. It will be a good game tomorrow for sure.
  6. True, but Huntsville had a VERY good team. But, Ozen came through in typical fashion.
  7. Any time you beat Hudson, you have to be impressed! Go Dogs!!
  8. Mike Rogers went to 5a Alvin. Rogers certainly did a good job, but I doubt that his record would compare to Coach Boales back in the fifties and sixties. Boales in Jasper's first four years (1960-64) in 4a (the old 3a) won district every year, beating perennial powers Nederland and Orange. Of the first four years, his teams made it twice to the state tournament, and came within one victory in both the other two years of making it to the state tournament. Actually, in 1964 Jasper was short by only one run against Deer Park. Incidentally, in 1963 his Jasper team beat Alvin in the playoffs 2 games to none. They beat a tall skinny kid from Alvin who threw nothing but smoke, 1-0. The kids name, Nolan Ryan. Now you know the "rest of the story". A Jasper coach moved to Alvin to help them revive their baseball program. Boales record before moving up to 4a was outstanding, but back then 2a did not have a state tournament so some very good Jasper teams did not get state recognition.
  9. That is a good question! Does getting beat make the fans poor sports? I think not. Just means they lost the basketball game.
  10. The big question is how can Jasper replace Coach Spoon. He WAS the track program.
