  1. I suggest meeting by the flag pole. That way, there should be no doubt where to meet. The flag pole is on the west end of the stadium, opposite where you enter at the front.
  2. I plan to be there! Want to meet at half-time? As far as I know, nothing formal has been arranged, but I am sure we can arrange some "appropriate" treatment for you! Heck, I might even come sit on your side with you. No, wait, you never sit on our side.
  3. Jasper over BH by a few.
  4. You could well be right. I thought Jasper's offense did very well, if you take away the crucial penalties that called back big plays. Defense is where they have to step it up big time. But, I truly also believe that Livingston is much better than folks are giving them credit for. Time will tell.
  5. It was Gilmer 49 Jasper 47, but the result was the same!
  6. I wish Moye the very best. He should do well at Diboll, and anywhere else he may play in the future. Jasper was blessed to have him for the time that they did. Too bad that it played out like it did.
  7. Scrimmage scores don't matter, .................. unless it is WOS handing it to BH! Then that is a whole nother matter!
  8. That's okay. Jasper can work on turnovers. I expected something like this against a usually super tough 4a team like PNG.
  9. For Jasper's Big Red Bryant, how about the hit he put on that Cameron Yoe QB? It ended Billy Pittman's high school QB career. They moved him to receiver after that open field hit by Bryant. Pittman seemed literally frozen in his tracks, and Big Red didn't stop until Pittman was flattened.
  10. Yes, Spikes will be a force. he has the potential to be a monster! And he has also played some QB?? Jasper probably missed him almost as much last year as they did Moye. Things are looking up for the Dogs!!
  11. And you picked up some tickets for me?
  12. For sure, 108 yard return is going to be one record hard to beat! I was standing on the Silsbee side, down at the end zone. Yes, it was truly amazing to watch David just stand there with the ball in the end zone. It appeared that no one knew what to do, especially the Silsbee players. Several of them ran down there, stopped, and were just looking at him. Then, in a flash, he was gone. No one even touched him. But that was nothing new. I think it was that same year that Jasper was receiving a punt from Lufkin and four Lufkin players were around the ball, watching it bounce, hoping for a good Lufkin bounce. Big mistake. Scott zoomed in from nowhere, scooped up the ball, and zipped to their end zone while Lufkin was left trying to figure out what had just happened to them. David was one of the great ones to come through Jasper High, and sadly never received the credit that he should have gotten.
  13. Hennigan, you are on your way again! Congratulations!
  14. I agree, UNLESS they are playing some team that has been really dirty to others.
  15. Huffman, you played a very good team close. Hold your heads high and get 'em next year!
  16. Up to 4a! Congrats to both teams on a good series!
  17. Likewise, I wish the very best to the Huffman players, their family, and school. For a while, it looked very difficult for Huffman, but they persevered and things finally fell their way. They deserved the wins and will be formiddable competition as they move forward in the playoffs.
  18. Congratulations Huffman! You played the best today and tonight and deserved to win. Good luck against Hudson.
  19. BEWARE THE JODY JINZ!
