I do not know anything about these teams.  Question, how do the three 4a teams that WO-S defeated compare to the two 4a teams that Jasper dominated in their scrimmages?  The two 4a teams might not have been world beaters.  Just do not know.  But for a fact, Jasper did dominate them in their scrimmages.  As I understand it, Marshall was in the 4a playoffs last year; so there possibly is at least some ability there.  Nacogdoches, who knows about them?  But for a fact, Jasper outscored them 14-0 in one live quarter.  So were the WOS 4a teams all that superior to the 4a exposure that Jasper has had?  Point is, Jasper has out-played everyone they have been on the field with this year, not just the 3a teams.  Again, just looking forward to Jasper once again being on the same field with WO-S!

[/quote] Well said!  I think your evaluation is right on.  This is a great opportunity for both teams to learn what they will need to work on in district.  You really don't learn much from blow-outs.  There will always eventually be a team that will have the size and speed to present a stronger challenge.  This game promises to be that "stronger challenge" for both teams.

[/quote] couldn't have said it better myself.  8)  I think Jasper fans do know how good WO-S is.  Very good indeed.  We do not yet truly know how good Jasper is this year because no one has yet really challenged them.  Friday night should reveal a lot.

Talk all you want.  No one truly knows what is going to happen Friday night.  This is Jasper at WO-S for gosh sakes.  If you study the history of this series, it is not a given that WO-S wins.  Throw out the records.  Throw out the rankings.  It will be war in WO-S stadium Friday night.  It probably will be a low scoring game.  I predict a close game whether low scoring, or high scoring.  Neither team will give up easily. I am picking Jasper to win only as a homer pick.  I think the Dogs will have more to prove.
