what radio station has the game?
I cannot get it on this computer, but: www.kjas.com should get the game for you from an unbiased Jasper viewpoint. ;) -

Lumberton is honestly on a different level of football than Jasper ;) Not even close 8) remember , we are a good 4-A team and Jasper is a mediocore small school. Its gonna to get ugly for Jasper real early in this one. I cant wait Go Raiders
Not trying to start anything but i have to say something. Jasper is not just some small mediocore school. If i remember right they gave yall a pretty good game last year. In fact didn't they beat yall? I think they did. So i wouldn't count them out just yet.
no, Jasper did not beat Lumberton last year. Jasper has some positives this year, but they have yet to accomplish anything. let their play on the field do the talking. might be some surprises. ;) -

Southeast Texas gets little respect in Texas Football
j_dog replied to Bobcatfan4life's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Coming out of the "SE Texas districts including WOS and Silsbee" Jasper made 4a QF in 2001, 3a Semi's in 2002 and 2003, and state final in 2004. True, not so much since then.... >:( -
If the new HC repeats the success he enjoyed at his last stop as defensive coordinator, Jasper will be in the playoffs this year, and will then start some old fashioned Jasper football winning. Rumor has it that the now soph class is one of the most talented classes in years. Jasper may turn some heads even this year.

The same Ricky Tullos that was AD at Cleveland? Wow. Job market must be slim out there
Try finding a teaching position if you are NOT a coach. Now that's slim.
Yes that's true. But I would imagine that with the success Tullos had at Cleveland he would be able to fine a HEAD coaching job somewhere. Unless he just wants to stay in the area. Or if he wants to be next in line for Deel's job...?....
isn't Tullos the one that got a head coaching job last year or so at New Waverly and Livingston would not release him? if so, pox on Livingston as far as i am concerned.... when someone gets a promotion offer, the classy thing seems to be to let him go. might have been a good short term decision for Livingston, but might be a terrible long term decision. might be enough to make any up and coming young coach think twice before accepting an assistant job there.
The same. But remember, Tullos accepted the New Waverly job, if I remember correctly, during the 2nd week of two a days last year. Leaving that late would have left Randy Rowe hardly any time to replace him....completely different situation from this year when he accepted a position pretty early in the summer which leaves Coach Deel an opportunity to replace him if he wishes.
true. the "villian" if there was one probably was the NW coach that abruptly left NW in the lurch. but still, the fact remains that when you hold someone in a place against their will to the detriment of their career ......... didn't smell good to me. -

Way to go BC! This may be your year! -
Congrats WOS! Simply amazing. To three-peat in ANY sport is awesome.

Stinks! Both teams will have to drive way south when there surely are places nearly in between both teams. Huntsville would have been a good location if not Crockett or Trinity. ??? or perhaps Livingston. But New Caney??
-
.... Marlow (baseball) got reassigned to Golf next year from what I am told by some people I know there. T.....
For real?? Just one year after Marlow took his team to the 3a state finals. ??? :o

This whipping may turn out to be good for Jasper. If they had the big head, they don't any more for sure. Good luck to CH. If they meet up with Crockett I would like to see that series. Crockett was not exactly chopped liver last year, and they were mostly an undergraduate team. Two very good teams. One would have to go home.

The change for another pitcher will be a lot quicker for Jasper if the starter gives up a run. In a one gamer, there is no tomorrow to redeem yourself. Some nights a pitcher has his good stuff, other nights ....... well, try somebody else.
