that is only if yo ucan get it to play on your computer!! I finally got it to work by ininstalling windows media player software, and then downloading and installing the latest media player updates. Since doing that I have had no problems on either of our two computers. Apparently KJAS now has the latest software. They did not for awhile and apparently that was the cause of all the problems. Bronson was awesome last year as a "bunter" and was a critical part of the offense. Now, as a slugger, there are few words left to describe him. And yes, he is always smiling and relaxed. In the final QF game last year agains BC, before the game when most kids would have been very serious and uptight, he is down by the dugout shooting "basketballs" with a baseball. I knew right then Jasper was ready to play some baseball!

You can go to Round Rock. Unfortunately, this year 3a has to go to Austin, Disch Falk Field. That is a bummer. Last year it was really special to be able to watch all the teams play at one site.

I saw on another site that Hutto has give up only five runs in the playoffs, and Carthage had four of those. Jasper's going to have a good challenge here. But any "easy" games were over after the first round. From the second round on they are all tough, or they would not be in the playoffs.

A big plus to Jasper for the intangible: Coach Shawn Mixon. He knows how to prepare the Dogs for a playoff series. I pick the Dogs in two close games.

i understand what you are saying and agree, but you still have to have depth to win that 2nd game ;D Jasper still has the two pitchers who were depth enough to win at state last year. Plus Cord Yates, who judging from what he did against Bellville is also quite capable.

The state tourney should be 2 out o 3 as well. One year I wish the sprint relay would have been best 2 out of 3 because had it been Jasper would have won the state throphy in track instead of Atlanta. All we had to do was place about 3rd and we had a horrible race, dropped the stick, bobbled it or something. Had the best time in the state going into the race too. It was worse than that. A kid from another team practically tackled the Jasper runner, knocking him down. By the time the Jasper runner could get up, the best he could do was a place or two below what would have won state for Jasper. The other team was disqualified for the tackle, but little good that did Jasper. But this is all off-subject.

Surely it was not an intentional intentional walk. Nobody in his right mind walks anybody to pitch to Bronson. On the other hand, I hope it catches on with future opponents.

It just dawned on me, I think this was the first game in these two years between these two teams that had a wider margin than one to two runs. No wonder so many fans turned out to watch.
