  1. Thanks for the info. We will be watching for those nefarious schemes. Shame on them
  2. I think you called it the closest. And where are all those posters predicting a close game? Have not seen much from them since. ???
  3. Jasper, they have won three games in a row. ;D
  4. Link to the directions, and a button to click for a campus map. Would have helped to have this last year. > [Hidden Content]
  5. Yes, it was tricky. I had hoped for an easier place to find this year. Like in Huntsville. ;D Directions from I-45. Exit College Park Drive (Hwy 242). Travel West on College Park 0.7mi to Achievement Drive (The University Center will be on the North). Turn South on Achievement Drive, travel through the stop sign on to the dead end. Turn East (left), travel to the next dead-end and turn South (right). Baseball Complex will come into view on your right.
  6. Senior. Already signed with McNeese to play football and baseball. He could have a future in either. His uncle played 8 seasons as a DB for the 49'ers.
  7. Very good. We'll wear out their pitching. Their ace from last year, Tallerine, has been injured all of district, just like Stephenson. Both are back now. It will be interesting to watch.
  8. have to eat their eggs and pancakes first. then tell jokes. these things always seem to take 3 to 4 hours. be patient folks. ;D
  9. 6.……..Bridge City 7.…….Hardin Jefferson 8.…….Jasper
  10. This is clearly a "homer" thread, but I will second that.
  11. Sounds a lot like last year predictions for Jasper. Jasper is the underdog again this year, but will strive to overcome.
  12. Tallerine gave Jasper fits for about five innings last year. By the time Jasper figured him out, they had run out of innings.
  13. Expect a tough series. Bellville had a young team last year, so they should be much tougher this year. Jasper just barely took them out last year, and even HJ was not able to do that. The "easy" games are over.
  14. Congratulations Dogs. I was happy to see Stephenson get a chance to get in some pitching time. He had some bad moments, but still showed the toughness he had last year. He can zing that ball in there! Now the Dogs move on to face a very tough Bellville team. Bellville was the only team other than BC to take Jasper to three games last year in the playoffs.
  15. Shades of last fall's football results against 22-3a. But Tarkington made a good decision to go for one game. Get it over with. Coldspring still has another session to go, and presumably Coldspring has already thrown its best pitcher.
  16. If I had a vote, Casey Jackson would get it!
  17. True, it makes no difference. 3abaseball.com must have it wrong then. "CLEVELAND TARKINGTON LONGHORNS Coach: Chris Wiggins (3rd Year) 2007 Record: 16-6, 8-2 Playoffs: Bi-District Bye; Lost to Needville in Area Round (4-11) "
  18. Casey Jackson, Bridge City, 3a. Anybody who can throw out Taylor Hart at second base deserves recognition!
