Yeah, any coach who will send the runners home 4 times in one game will try anything. And three times they scored! I figure a 750 percentage on stealing home is not too shabby. There may be players on other teams faster than Bronson or Hart, but I did not see ANY of them doing what Bronson or Hart did last year. And the players down the Jasper batting order are not exactly slow either.

Oiler coach Glanville said it best. One season Eugene already had 4 blocked punts. Glanville said many players have that many coming in from the end, but that he would challenge ANYONE to do it going straight through the line like Eugene did. And that was in the NFL.

just like last year. fast, fast, and faster. one count at state had them stealing 20 bases in just two games against supposedly the "best in the state". by the way, their fastest two players are returning.

Let's see now. Jasper won two games at state, almost 10 run ruling both games. Both winning Jasper pitchers will return. The entire outfield returns, including CF Hart. 3B returns. Only a freshman, he made many senior level plays. DH Bronson returns. Jasper easily has the talent to fill in the other 4 spots.

Took the words right out of my keyboard. The Dogs are raring to get back on their winning ways against Livingston. Jasper's loss to Livingston was the first since sometimes back in the fifties. I think the Livingston coach's father played on that Livingston team.

Jasper beats Livingston.
