Technically yes. But in my opinion,when you lose heads up, the winner should be considered DC. I believe Nederland gets the #1 seed unless this district does something crazy like go off points system.

I don’t know if it was “their own hype”. I know a few Crosby posters picked them to win, but I think most everybody in the GT, including Nederland posters, picked Crosby too.

Totally agree but Nederland players came out and played hard. Crosby players just went thru the motions and let the game get away from them.

That kid isn’t frustrated, he’s just a bonehead. He did the same stupid thing last week against Sante Fe. He wouldn’t even be on the field for me ever again.

Your right. Crosby hasn’t had to play much in the 2nd half. They came out flat early and spotted Nederland 9 points. I’m hoping they get their act together. We need to quit taking shots to the end zone on 1st down inside the twenty. Just keep taking the 5 yards and get in the end zone.

Not sure home field will even matter this year. With Covid, I think a lot of fans are getting used to watching the games at home.

I would say they were lucky to get a win after throwing four interceptions. Not a lucky win.

Yea, the stats I posted above only included district games against the same opponents. I was considering Nederland had two games cancelled and that is why I didn’t include them.

We had one starter going both ways in part of one game because a defensive starter was out. The first half of the PNG game is the only time that happened. Crosby does not normally do that. Against SF tonight a backup receiver starting for an injured player did go in on defense with the 2nd string during the 2nd half. Only occasions I have seen.

I don’t think it means anything, but if you compare stats on the same district opponents, Crosby scores 43 ppg. and allows 7. Nederland scores 36 ppg. And allows 18.

Yea, haven’t seen him on the sideline either though. Maybe I’ve overlooked him.

Two weeks in a row I haven’t seen #13 on the field for Crosby. One of their best receivers. Anybody know what’s up ?
