I don’t see the “wash” from PAM. They struggled with BH and PNG took them to overtime. We see how Crosby took care of business with those same teams.

I agree it was a huge win for Nederland, but I just don’t think BH is a “strong opponent” like everyone thinks. I think most teams in our district are just that bad. I’m hoping there is a three-way tie for second. 😁

I know exactly what he said. That defense gave up 32 to PNG and 20+ to BH. Two teams I don’t consider very good at all.

Crosby had one player going both ways on occasion. There was a couple of starters that were not even on the sideline. I am assuming they are sick.

That being said, I in no way think Crosby is unbeatable. Crosby is solid. I think (again, based solely on what I observed against BH) they are a third-round team with a high seed, 2nd round with a low seed. PNG can win this game. I don't look at PNG as a bad team at all. They have played well in every game, and the only truly bad performance, even with the bad defense, was the implosion against BH. PNG has shown flashes of real potential and talent all season, and there is nothing to say it won't come together tonight. Remember the 2010 season, when Central marched into the Reservation for the last game of the season, one game away from an undefeated district championship -- In that season PNG had an awful defense and an incredible offense (that was a year, I should add, PNG dominated Crosby in the pre-season). PNG crushed Central and went to the third round, only to lose by 10 points against Manvel. So we could surprise people tonight, is my only point. We still have the best QB in the area, and a full stable of dangerous runningbacks and receivers. GO Indians. 

Good post. Except for the part about “We still have the best QB in the area”. I just don’t see it.

100% agree. The defense gave the offense at least two more opportunities. 

Crosby squandered points in first half inside the 20 or it would be worse. Blown run play by Crosby defense kept them from getting a shut out. They have to keep the pressure on though.

I told y’all KPark was not very good at all. It will be hard to gauge if the PNG defensive changes are actually for the best. 

Crosby has scored twice in the first quarter rather quickly. I’m assuming it is 14-0. It’s hard to watch the TC livestream because the camera only shows one side of the field. 

Does anyone know of any site that will be streaming this game ?  Texanlive says they are not covering it.

Which would technically mean that KWP has the ability to Adapt to its opponents.

 

KPark beating Texas City doesn’t mean much. Texas City has been terrible this year. The only game they have won is against Sante Fe. 

If PNG makes changes on defense, this game might not be a good one to decide if the results were good. Kpark is not a very good team at all. On the other hand, if PNG struggles, like I said, KPark is not very good at all.
