There is never going to be a season go by that someone from Vidor or the GT doesn’t bring up the time the Pirates beat Crosby on this site. Regardless of the fact that they are always a sub .500 team that struggled to make a 4-team playoff scenario in a year they dropped down a division. It’s all good though.

In the secondary we do not. Otherwise our two best recievers wouldn’t be playing both ways. Maybe we can jump out ahead in some of these games and give them a rest on defense so they can be productive offensively.

And…..it won’t matter because we will be tied for last place in our district, just like you will be tied for last in your weak district.

That’s exactly right. But in my opinion that’s what these “pre-season” games are for. You guys being undefeated in that weak district didn’t help you a bit last year. Your entire district got swept. Crosby struggled early last year also. Win or lose, everyone in 12-5A will have a 0-0 district record after this weekend.

Damn, that will be worse of a beat down than Crosby took from Manvel. That’s a bold prediction but I don’t know anything about PAM. I do know Crosby has a very young team this year so they have a lot of room to improve. The QB/Receiver timing has been way off.

Did I see in the PAM / BH updates that PAM had several unsportsmanlike penalties ? Maybe the lack of discipline kept that game close.
