It's not just the Crosby faithful saying "Crosby is good".  Some how Dave Campbell's, the AP Poll, the Coaches Poll, and others think they are good.  I think if Dayton wins, they will be just as shocked as everyone else.  A lot of people on here said the same thing the week before we played Vidor, then turned around and picked Crosby to win in their pick'ems.  I would say that's just not only Crosby fans.

Anything can happen.  I'm still shocked Galena Park beat Dayton.  That's just sad.

Porter scored 48 in first half. Dayton’s offense played bad. Dayton came out after halftime offense is moving the ball. Defense gets to rest results defense keep porter out of the end zone second half. 

 

Barbershill scored 31 points before Dayton’s offense showed up. Defense is tired. Dayton’s offense starts clicking and scores 21 points. Results defense keeps barbershill out of the end zone. 

 

Crosby. Dayton’s offense comes out the gate firing on all cylinders. Gives the defense some rest and what do you know the defense brings a much deserved stomping to the cougars o. 

Please don't say Dayton kept Porter out of the end zone after allowing 48 in the first half.  Don't you think they put the 2's and 3's in the second half ?  That's who Dayton kept out of the end zone.  SMH.

That's a bold prediction. There is still four games to be played before that happens. 

Just got home and read all this.  There sure was a lot of people talking trash all the way up until the 3rd quarter (and not all Vidor fans).  The game is four quarters, and sometimes even more.  Just wish Crosby would play the first half.  I wasn't very optimistic when the starting QB went out with no points on the board, but they managed to pound it out.

You’re exactly right. Anyone can win anytime. People made those same statements about Crosby vs Manvel. Everyone has a chance and we won’t know until the game is over. 

I didn't realize they played Santee both ways.  I just don't think that's a good idea in close games. At the end, when games are close, you need your playmakers fresh.  Whether it be for offense or defense.

I have no idea. I don’t think like people in Dayton do. I don’t ever really care who wins the other games Crosby is not in. But, if I were a Dayton fan, I would be pulling for Crosby. In my opinion, Dayton needs help to get in the playoffs this year. Every loss Vidor, Sante Fe, and BH get will be helpful to them. Although, I feel like Vidor can get into the playoffs anyway.

I really don’t care who wins, but I think Sante Fe is definitely used to teams “being physical and biting them in the mouth”.  They have been in the Fort Bend district with the likes of Marshall, Manvel, Texas City, etc.

If you are referring to my comment as being arrogant, you are wrong. I am basing my opinion off the fact I have seen them play, and like I said, I'm not sure they can beat anyone in this district. At this point, their best chance of a win would be Baytown Lee.  Although, they beat Galena Park, whom Dayton lost to.

You're probably right about the outcome.  It wouldn't surprise me if Dayton doesn't win a game this year.
