I heard he was cleared by GCCISD, but pending other approvals. That was early last week though.

One looked good, ran the ball twice, once for a long TD and the other time for about 17 yards. The other QB got hurt early trying to scramble. The offense overall looks to need time to work together, although I don’t know if the first team was ever on the field all at once. Something expected, having new coaches and all. Hopefully they will put it together in the non-district games, although having New Caney, Manvel, and WOS to start the season will be rough.

No offense to either kid but...Crosby always seems to find players for RB. As far as Coker goes, if you saw any of the games he played in, I don’t see how you could say that is a big loss.

The latest reports from the school district state that the districts finances are back on track and they are out of the red. I think the scrimmage someone was asking about was an inter-squad scrimmage. I’d like to know myself. Grad is right though. Riordan is big on social media and the new coach is not.

I have no idea, I don’t go watch practices. Did the transfer from GCM show back up over there or something ?

Not sure the coaches information is correct, I believe Matt Riordan went to Splendora. And Earl Campbell the RB coach, come on now....

He looked pretty good in 7 on 7 at Crosby in the offseason. I don’t know.....

Possibly could be 0-3, but highly doubtful 0-4. If the right QB plays, possibly 3-0, although New Caney, Manvel, and WOS will all be tough games. Time will tell.

It seems like Crosby will be pretty much starting completely over with coaches. Just saw where they let another really good one get away from them as Coach Freeman is moving on to be Asst. Head Football coach of CE King. This guy graduated from Crosby High and has coached here for 9 years. For him to decide to leave his home town it had to be hard. It also reiterates how bad the situation is between the administration, school board, and the teachers and coaches. Again, I think the school board and previous administration should be held accountable for all their actions. Even the ones that didn’t vote for the excessive spending going on were present and watched the situation unfold. I would love to see them all prosecuted. Coach Freeman has been a staple in the community and school district. I wish him well and good luck.
