I guess that's why Crosby is the football Mecca.  We have great football atmosphere, team discipline, good coaches, and a brand new Jumbotron !!!

No offense, but after what I saw in the Nederland scrimmage, they will have to really, really improve to finish as high as those predictions.  Either that or you think everyone else is that bad ? 

I guess every pass that is thrown could be considered a potential TD pass.  Neither the article or anyone else has mentioned the defensive offside penalties Nederland had.  I quit counting at about 10 and I think the refs got tired of throwing their flag shortly after.

Netherly, but he overthrew the receivers all night.  It was nice when they went to game situation and Rio put his whistle down so he could run.

After missing so many open receivers, I think they were definitely trying to work on that.  Have a lot of work to do.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.  Someone posts a "prediction" thread or a link to a pre-season poll about the upcoming season, and you guys immediately start thumbing through the History books.  I wonder if the coach tells the players after a loss:  "That's ok kids, your grandpa's team beat them when they played."  Relating stats of current players, still on the team,  is one thing, but going back decades, really ?

I just realized almost every post made by someone from PNG should be moved to the Southeast Texas Football Team Histories thread.

Liltex, you need to have a sit down with Bronco94 and explain some of this stuff to him.  Although, no matter what, he still would like to see Crosby lose.

Correct, and when schools do get new jerseys every year, they give the old varsity jerseys to JV or Freshman.

You wish.  Their one's couldn't score on our 2's or 3's.  I'm not really sure how many times Crosby scored but it was plenty.  Crosby didn't even run Netherly.  Grace is back in full form. Thread is quiet because we realize it was just a scrimmage !!!!!  Good luck to Huffman.  You will be fine with schools in your own division.

For you guys posting scores, do they really have scores up on a scoreboard ?  I have been to 100's of scrimmages and have only seen the clock showing. I've never seen them put up points on the board for a scrimmage.
