Did King lose a game in district? Did I miss something? Is this why you put Crosby at #1? Oh yeah it's a numbers thing..... Those numbers mean nothing when you factor in injuries, penalties, or the rivalry between two teams etc.... When they meet on the field.
I am sure he did it like all standings and looked at district first the overall record.

Ewwww, at Turner, good luck with the homecooking.
That is a fact !
-
Dayton vs. Humble this week will mean a lot to both teams
-
After watching this game, how do you think Kpark will do against the rest of the district teams ?
-
Dayton vs. Humble will tell a lot also. Humble has serious athletes.
-
One week Dayton posters are ready to run the head coach and qb out of town. Then they beat Barbers Hill and they are ready to shock the world. The only way they finish ahead of King is with help from another team.
-
Yeah, yeah we were worse last year, remind me how those stats changed the outcome of Dayt/Crosby game,we've been last/next to last on defense under Hancock every year=Crosby code red has 2(6 pt)wins over the worse Dayt D in a long time
I wasn't comparing Dayton and Crosby. The question was why not Dayton finishing top in the district. I just noted Dayton is last in defense which doesn't equate for a good playoff run. Trust me, Crosby has had good offenses and last rate defenses and been one and done before.
-
Why not Dayt once the chemistry gets figured out we'll see(2014 Dayt JV=dist champs),NC vs Dayt past 3 yrs has lost by 26,39 & 48 pts.Outside King blowing Dayt out last year we took the co-champs/semi-finalist to OT in Crosby, beat the rest, way I see it a dist championship is still up for grabs=who wants it
I don't see King falling to fourth. Chemistry is not what Dayton needs to figure out, defense is. Last in the district in all defensive categories and giving up 500 yards per game is something they need to figure out. If they give up 500 to Humble they will lose because the Humble defense will be a test for their offense.

Crosby, King, Dayton, Humble, New Caney
5 very good teams, 4 playoff spots, who gets left out??
I think next weeks Dayton @ Humble game is going to be a good one.
-
Not sure about those stats. I didn't think Humble had that many yards. Maybe they got a lot in the fourth when the starters were pulled.
-
If those stats are right, besides the 78 yard run by Brantley, New Caney did good against the run. Williams 10 for 55, Brantley 17 for 94. So besides the 78 yard run he was 16 for 16 yds. ?
-
You'd certainly have a better idea than me. I'm pretty sure Coogs win, and Dayton always tough. Do think Vidor has good chance for forth. Y'all's dream game may come.
It would be a dream come true, but I'm just saying don't rule out Humble or New Caney. New Caney has a good offense and Humble has a good defense.
-
Coug -- you are only allow two post on another team site , so your limit is done-- see you on your site-- we now see you don't want to face OZEN again smh
Really, now I have three, understand.
-
Bi Dist Matchups:
Ned vs KP
Ozen vs Dayton
PNG vs CE King
Vidor vs Crosby
Too early to tell, but I think Humble and New Caney have a chance of representing 21-5a.
-
Dayton 48-14.
Go crosby^!
Go dayton^!
This prediction should give BH fans some hope.
-
I like it that dayton90210 picked Humble over Crosby because he's always wrong.
-
Dayton has given up 76 first half points the last 2 games but only 6 second half points the last two games combined including shutting out CK the second half. Never seen anything like it. Oh well I'm ready for Friday and can't imagine a scenario where Dayton doesn't get the W at home against BH. Dayton by 21
That is some weird stats. Almost like the defensive coordinator doesn't know what to do until he has seen a half of football. Looks like they need better pre-game prep.
-
If BH can move the ball and control the clock this one might be tough to call. I haven't seen Dayton play but their defense has been giving up huge numbers.
-
Unbiased opinion here, you have a kid that has 120 yards rushing on 5 carries, why did he only get 5 carries? Feed him, but that's my opinion.
I was wondering the same thing when I read the article. Also giving up 41 in the first half is hard to come back from.
-
Also, I would love to change my photo but can't find a cougar helmet that small of a size for it to be accepted!
You have to find one of these computer savvy kids to do it for you. I have two.
-
Crosby definitely needs to clean up on the penalties. 368 yards in penalties in 3 games. Not sure on the exact number but 2 touchdowns for sure called back. Maybe more.
-
Everyone keeps complaining about the head coach. Does he run the defense because that's where the problem seems to be? You can't keep giving up 46 pts./game and 532 yds./game.
-
Way closer than I expected. Wth happened?
Six starters did not start due to injuries, stomach flu, and healing up. An athlete that has never played running back before started and did a hell of a job. I can't wait for cougar14 to posts his stats. Game was never close even though the refs tried like hell to keep it that way. But sometimes you score so fast even the refs couldn't figure out what just happened.

the kids are not playing YET... they will I am sure as soon as it gets voted on by District or UIL.
I would not be to sure about C.E. King yet.. took a butt whoopin to Magnolia last week...
Almost all years D-1 is tougher... You are right.. you play who they put infront of you.. It helps you win when the team that they put infront of you is not that good...
RANKINGS DONT MEAN CRAP!!! Especially this early.. a lot has to do with what you did last year and who you know...
The UIL already ruled the students that moved from King inelligible at the district and state level. Fact. They have already left the school and from what I understand are enrolling in a private school. That part is hearsay though.

Broke his foot in Nederland game. Supposed to be 4-6 weeks. Probably somewhere around the Dayton game.
