I am pulling for the Bears in this game. I think LCM does have a very potent O, I give that advantage to the bears in this one, D is a push on both sides of the ball.

Hate to say it Dogs, but LCM wins this one. Gonzales is a heck of a QB. LCM is a very good team. Yep pulling for the Bears. Works in PNG's favor !

I think LCM has to win to get into the playoffs as well.

I had a feeling it was all gonna come down to the final week of district play. The scenarios are just crazy right now.

Man this is just another example of the way some of society is. To lazy obviously to work, they would rather steal memories and hurt someone. I for one hope they catch these folks and when they land in jail the guards turn their backs for awhile and let the other inmates have their way with them. I'm sure that the things stolen are probably across state lines by now and in a pawn shop. Just a pathetic punk who has no life ! Maybe there will be some street justice before the police find them !

It would be great to have the PNG and Central game decide the District title again. I hate to say it though, but I don't see Lumberton beating Central. They seem to have imploded this year. Up one game and DOwn another. BUT......  Who knows with this district this year.

I think he is gonna land a assisant job at a college somewhere in the state. I don't see a High school being able to afford him.

I think that PNG and LCM would go D2 if that was how the season ended with those teams going to the playoffs. I think Central and Nederland both have a larger enrollment than PNG and LCM. I don't know the size of the schools in 19-4A. So I have no idea who would play who in this scenaro. I don't think we will have a clear playoff pic til maybe this Friday or possibly the last games of District. I know Central is in, and everyone else but Ozen is battling for those 3 remaining spots. Brain power is winding down for the day. So if someone else has all this in mind put it down. Thanks

THis game comes down to who's defense shows up. My pick is LCM by 7 late in the 4th.

PNG JV 7 LCM JV 0 Good defensive battle in this game. LCM's JV qb was sacked numerous times.

Png's coaches know exactly what they are doing. If there is a player not cutting it in his position then they will see it too on film. I think we are see a better improved Defense every game. Like others have said, they are only 1 or 2 personnel changes that may need to be made. But on the other hand, maybe the coaches already have out there who they feel is best for that posiition. I know we are all arm chair head coaches, but its best to leave the players being called out to the coaches. Thats their jobs to take care of it. SO lets try and leave negative comments about any teams players out of the boards.

Do most teams play better at home on their own turf or better on away games ? No the fans do not play. No their is not any home cooking. Yes the boys play and the coaches coach. The winner is the team with the most points on the score board at the end of the game. So is their a question as to home field advantage, I'm sure you have heard of that before. Or you may not have ever been to a home game at PNG. Just think about it. If we were playing someone away the game would be to the home team advantage.

I do believe our D line and inside backers can stop the run most of the time. Yes our secondary needs some work. Last nights game with Ozen was a real good game for our secondary. Yes we got beat on the deep ball, but we did have some good defensive stops back there on passes. Also I do believe we have a few juniors and a sophmore in the secondary. With a running QB our D line and backers need to attack faster and not give the QB time to throw. I know its a 50/50 with the run or pass D, but in our case I will take attacking the Qb and making him run over getting beat with the deep ball. Last night was a good learning experience for our secondary. I think it will help them defend LCM's passing attack alittle more than in the past.

I know in 20-4A anyone can pull out the upset ! I would like to see this updated weekly if someone you predict to win gets defeated. I think you are pretty close, but I'm still believing in the NDN's to win out or atleast win 2 of their remaining 3. If they do then that changes the outcome. Its hard to say who is gonna show up to play in this district. I thought Livingston was gonna roll over Lumberton and Lumberton won. So when alot of us think that so and so is gonna win its like a crap game with dice. Its gonna be a wild ride over the next 3 weeks. Alot can happen and alot of things can change. PNG's coaches know who they are playing and who their key players are. Just like LCM's coaches they have scouted PNG and know what we are capable of. Both teams have problems in positions. THis game is gonna be about who's defense can make the most stops. Both teams O's can score easily. This is gonna be the battle of the defenses !

Like I said earlier, Ozens QB is very good and fast. Ozen is better than their record. Their recievers are blazing fast !

PNG D, Corners were covering well but were not turning to look for the ball until it was too late. If they turn and look sooner for the ball then there is a better chance at a INT or a knock down. On the line, one of our linebackers was getting knocked around pretty bad and that was the side they seemed to run too alot. Just need a bigger more aggressive backer on that side. Our O did good. I think even when they stacked the box on us we should have kept pounding away at Ozens D with Bertrand. Great game by both teams. I think Ozen is better than their record shows. THose refs were terrible. They do not deserve to ever officiate on a Friday or Saturday night again. THey didn't know anything. I sure hope the head coaches both file complaints on them. The clock operator must have been asleep most of the game. Because when the ref WOULD finally blow his whistle to start the 25 sec clock it would usually take an additional 5 seconds to start it. I'm thinking something wrong there and left handed. After Friday nights games all coming down to the final minutes, this one was bound to be the same, but, turned out to be an even better nail bitter ! Great game for both teams.
