1.
TV said that the official was standing over the ball when the play clock went to 0. I didn't see it, but they did look clueless.
Best I can tell and remember he was not standing over the ball. This is in the first OT. The play clock hits 0 and a ozen player moves and then the ref runs in. No flags what so ever. Poor officiating.
 2. I can tell you this, Ozen is a better team than what their record shows. THeir QB and running backs are very good. The QB has a cannon and can flat out move ! My respects go out to Ozen. On another note, how is the Ozen player that was taken away in the ambulance ? My prayers go out to him.
 3.
Can someone explain how the 25 second play clock can wind down (again)  as everyone was counting down the seconds for the inept refs, the clock hits ZERO, they blow the whistle, a flag comes out, but they wave it off???????  No foul?  If there was no foul,  then why did these goofballs stop the play?  IMO that was a very crucial non-penalty. Any explanations on this one?
Sorry all I can say is RETARDS ! Not only did the play clock hit 0 ! One of Ozen's players jumped off sides and no flag was thrown. THis was in the first OT. I don't get it either. And not even starting the play clock several times in the game. Because of that they gave Ozen 2 or 3 extra time outs. I hope those refs never officiate again on a Friday night !
 4. PNG, after tonight, Ozen, we have LCM at home, Vidor away and Central at home.
 5.
png defense had tackling problems when they played livingston and if thats not fixed could be a game that comes down to who has the ball last.
Png has changed up the D and switched personnel around. Ask Lumberton how our D handled them. Tonights game with Ozen will be another good test for our D ! What time do the gates open up at the BISD stadium ?
 6. I listened to the game on the net at home last night. Wish I could have been at this game and all the others last night. Every game came down to the final minute of play. This game was a awesome game to listen too. Good Job to both teams, this game could have gone either way. Fumbles to me were the deciding factor with the field position. Congrats LCM. Pirates go take it to the jags !
 7. Way to pull it all back together Raiders. Congrats on a great win ! This district is just crazy this year.
 8.
Vidor will be beat at home by lcm this week. I got lcm by 2 td's maybe 3
Thought this game was at LCM ?
 9. You gotta throw Bertram in the mix from PNG ! Currently the leading rusher in 20-4A.
 10. I see Central and LCM in the playoffs. The remaining 4 weeks will be a wild ride with some surprises more than likely ! The remaining 2 spots are up for grabs. Who wants it the most will end up in the last 2 spots !
 11.

Congrats to PNG. It feels good to get that 1st big district win. I won't be surprised to see you get a playoff spot in the end. As I said, your O is too good and the D will get going. As far as Lumberton. It appears Lumpy and the boy's were thumpin on your team head's as I predicted. Or should I refer to your team as midgets as your coach did? You are fortunate the game was never close. Lumpy and the Boy's really get nasty when things aren't going their way. Like I said, PNG has the best balanced O in the district. Perhaps now you are believers. Apparently, the PNG and NED fans knew a little more about your midget's than you all did.  Tread, keep flying that snake flag you believe in.  footballfan34, I guess we know who the real joke is don't we. To my buddy Roughrider, great prediction of 42 -17 you were closer than my 35 -21. I just had 1 touchdown on the wrong team.  :-*
Even a blind squirrel can find a NUT every now and then! You win one game in District and now your the CHAMPS again. LOL!  You want get past Central or LCM! Y
So I guess that makes you the blind squirrel who also has no sence of smell and no legs to walk on to go find your nuts ?
 12. If the PNG D shows up like it should then this game will be bad for lumberton. Oh man they have that stupid train horn ! Oh well the crowd will drown it out !
 13.

LCM almost did that against Nacogdoches... ;D
Since we already lost Friday, we may do it :D (Jags) :-\ :-[ ;D J/K but those kids are huge, I'd double my kids pads and push'em out there. Pep talk, ''fellas this is a contact sport. So, get out there and hit somebody!'' :D [/quote Now thats funny ! Maybe instead of playing football, because you've already lost why not have a battle of the bands instead ? Or how about a BBQ cookoff ? See how smart BISD is they won't even have to use all the buses now ! saving on fuel !
 14. Rumor is that they brought a couple of the JV defensive players today and also a couple of the injured players are returning this week. Apparently one of which is a linebacker who was one of the original starters. just a rumor is all. anyone confirm it ?
 15.
why doesnt png put the jv quarterback from last year at inside lb. he is a big kids. he is getting waited sitting behind doty. he could help at alot of spots. he can actually run cause i saw he score from distance against ozen last year at qb
Well that is a good thought. I would however like to see the D coordinator try out some of the other guys on the sidelines or even try out one of the JV linebackers. They have some good size and great speed and are head up players. I think the key is going to be finding a way to get more pressure up front on the line. I find it almost impossible with a 3 man front. Even in the NFL the teams that run alot of 3 man fronts have difficulty getting into the backfield. Penetration and pressure are the keys in HS football for a D. Once you can establish you can pressure a QB your bound to have the QB start making bad choices and make bad throws which leads to higher interceptions and more 3 and outs. PNG's key is getting the ball back to the O. Thats the key for us. Let our O do what they do best, put points up on the board. Without changes in the D the only way for us to win is to flatout outscore the other team. I guess the speculation of our D is about worn out. If we stay with the same players and D thats fine. Maybe something will click and the D will begin to step up. I'm hoping for the best. All the boys do play hard. We are just not getting the breaks like we had last year. We have been in every game and have lost by a TD or less. But from here on out for this season its gonna have to be a win out and maybe get to the playoffs or ........
 16.
Maybe neither one of you can read and comprehend. As I stated, our inside LB's were not blocked on several play's. I did not state that the Nederland line was not blocking. It was very evident that our defensive front was being blocked well for most of the night.
Well when you mostly run a 3 man D front your not gonna get alot of pressure on a QB. To many O linemen to block and then throw in a blocking back and each linemen are double teamed. I don't see a 3 man D line getting much pressure on a passing QB ! I agree with your statement about the linebackers. They may be to small for that inside position. Oh well I'm not the coach and BF is. Maybe change will happen, if not, oh well, I will still pull for the NDN's no matter what happens.
 17.

Well if our coaches don't make some serious changes with our D it will be another loss for the NDN's. You just can't keep doing something over and over again and expect better results. The only thing our D has going for it so far is the D line. If our D steps up we might pull out a win, otherwise Lumbertons QB will pick us apart. If D steps up NDN's by 10 if not we loose by 10.
What changes can we make? I was thinking the same until I looked at what we had and asked myself who do i move to defense. Gizzi played some on defense, who else? We need linebackers more than we need secondary, but when I look on the offense I don't see a prospect for that. Sometimes all a coach can do, is do the best with what he has.
Honestly ? I think some of the players may need to go both ways. Jalali would be a good secondary player. The JV has some very good secondary players. I say you have to do what you have to do even if its playing iron man football. Lots of teams do it. I would put DJ as inside linebacker and number 42. I don't have his name. Both are big and fast. There are some other D players who could fill in their positions on the line. Or as someone suggested, put luncford as the nose tackle as well. His size and strength and speed would be a dangerous situation to be across from. All I know is that something needs to change ! This zone soft coverage has got to go !
 18.
WOW it only took 1 season for the PN-G faithful to get down on their worlds greatest coach......Maybe you can get a new one next season. ;D It truly is a great day when the PN-G faithful are picking the opponent to win the game.....Thats sick  ;)
No one is directly blaming the coach. They do need to go back to the drawing board for the D though. Who knows we may have a new D come next friday night or different personnel. I doubt it, but atleast its wishful thinking.
 19. congrats NEDERLAND ! You guys just put it together last night ! I stayed the entire game. My voice is gone. Young team with great talent ! should be a force over the next few years. Also remember that our JV is pretty good. So now my Father who is a NEDERLAND fan is gonna be poking me all year. Oh well thats whats fun about it ! Again congrats on a great game.
 20. Congrats Jag's ! way to handle them Lions ! Now take it too LCM ! Soulja Hope the mosquito's didn't get to full on ya'll up there in those woods ! lol ! Sounds like the Jag's got it going ! again Congrats !
 21. Well if our coaches don't make some serious changes with our D it will be another loss for the NDN's. You just can't keep doing something over and over again and expect better results.
