well if we get alot of the rain predicted today, (currently a tornado watch in place till 1 pm today) the game tomorrow night might have a sloppy muddy field. Hard to say until the rain hits. Could be another messy/muddy game like with Livingston.

We got a call yesterday afternoon from the PNG athletic department advising us that the PNG-Lumberton Freshmen and JV games were moved to the REZ for tonights games. Game times are still the same. 5 & 7. Lumberton probably dosen't want their field tore up with the approaching rain for tomorrow nights Varsity game. HEY why not move the Varsity game to the REZ !!!

I would hate to play in BH because the stands are so small !!! They may be alittle bigger than livingstons but not by much !!! I think they will go to a neutral site. Probable Stallworth, but you never know, could be further into the Houston area or up in east Texas. I know Faircloth will put into consideration the large fan base PNG has and make sure that the stadium will hold the fan base. How do they determine who is  the home team and the visitor team in the playoffs ?

I want the INDIANS to win, however you can never underestimate a team with their backs to the wall and especially a team that is playing off of emotions and fear ! INDIANS will pull it off, but Lumberton will make it close in the first half. Lumberton seems to pass alot of the time, so our secondary will get double duty more than likely. Could be alot of picks in this one for the INDIANS !

If PNG goes in to the playoffs as a small school, we could face either BH or Dayton, all depending on how their district ends. Does anyone know the records of the teams in 19-4A ? or who is probably going to make it into the playoffs from that District ?

Dont worry the INDIANS will remain very focused. The coaching staff will make sure of that !!! The confidence level is up only because the team expects to win ! thats what the coaching staff instills into these men !!! you can win and you will win ! the harder you work the luckier you get !!!

If you haven't bought your tickets yet you better get busy. My son went yesterday to get his and they are getting low !!! Don't know if sold out but they told him the tickets are getting pretty low as of yesterday.

Your quote is good, but you need to remember that the "over-confidence" is not from the PNG players but from the fans on this forum. We could say the same thing about the Vidor team, but I for one know that the "over-confidence is all coming from the fans, not the players. The PNG players are not over-confident ! they are only working harder this week than the week before. They know who they are playing and what Vidor is capable of. The players have two things on thier minds, work harder than their opponent and winning !!! So the over confidence is from the fans and not the players. Strap on the helmets tight and get ready for one heck of a game !!!

I guess while were at it !! PNG's o line is nothing to be dismissing. They are some big ol boys as well and can blow open some huge holes for Harmon !! They are very quick to their blocks as well. So Vidor isn't the only team in the area with a big O LINE !!!

2 high powered offenses ! Possibility for a high scoring game, but not likely ! This game is more than likely going to be won by the defense that can stop the other team atleast 2 times in the game forcing the other to punt, or turnovers and take aways. It could very well be a game played at mid field ! Who's D is going to be the most prepared and who executes the best is going to be the winning team. Pulling for my INDIANS !!! 21-14. so far livingston has only 4 first downs in the entire game and barely over 100 yards total offense.
