yep rematch of last year's regional quarterfinal where LIons won 95 to 61 ... Hempstead brings back a nice core from last years team. They lost their big man Thompkins to graduation though

not until regionals

They tried a lil bit of everything but 2-3 zone.. they tried to go man to man but i don't think any team in region 3 will have success against a pg like grayland.

Actually Crockett played a pretty solid game. Kountze Pressure Defense was the Difference. As each quarter went by the pressure got them tired and they turned the ball over to much.. Refs kept this game close.. Crockett pretty much was in the bonus throughout the game and made most of their freethrows. Grayland took over in the 3rd quarter after being in foul trouble in the 2nd. T.J another off night and Dante Carey stepped up big time.

very true.. we had some unexpected players step up last night. T.J had a off night shooting. Wilson and Hafford stepped up big time both sophomores. If our guards get in foul trouble we are in trouble.. Dante Carey is the only guard we have that will handle the ball other than T.J and Grayland...

yes cunnigan was a big lost for us to ozen.. both in football and basketball. We need to get off to a quick start and if T.J is knocking shots down that will open up the driving lanes for Grayland.

that's interesting kountze coach and crockett coach were debating either livingston or conroe... this should mean kountze and crockett will play at conroe but we will see

yes we started very slow but picked it up quick.. Only worries i have right now is we have a very limit of players that can come off the bench... the bench really showed up last night. Players that usually don't play much gave some good minutes. Off night shooting for T.J stanford maybe was 3 of 10 from 3pt land.. grayland led the charge with 32 pts. gonna need a quick start friday don't give em no hope
