[/quote]          I don't know where Sutherland shot was but he looked horrible for HJ the postive for HJ is they got the win. Negative they need to find a way to win when the Defense is not getting fastbreaks. I said that HJ wins if they turn steals into fastbreaks and thats what they did J turner 12 steals.....Kountze needs a PG baddd.. Zay McDaniel is not a True PG and i think they  will be okay because New Waverly do not press and i don't think any team in 1a-3a could beat Kountze playing man to man.

Kountze wins the key to the game for kountze is handle the ball and don't commit turnovers.. That is when J Turner is at his best when he gets steals and pushes the ball... so Kountze wins if they don't commit too many turnovers and HJ wins if Defense turns Turnovers into Fastbreak pts.

Devin Would have not came back to Kountze unless but he had to. so lets leave it at that.. He is a good player but not they way he is being put to be.

I think Anahuac has the best PG now that Smith from Kountze is gone. Last name Tarver was a Frosh this past year and the kid can go.

Kountze was rolling last year up 20 to 6 before BC made a comeback. I don't think Kountze can play with them this year. The thing that hurt BC last year was speed and Devin Wise for kountze is gone. So they can focus on the big boy.

Don't think that will happen. Trinity Brings Everyone Back from last year squad they were young. Have a pretty Solid Offense now. Running Backs were Quick did not have a O line that should be fixed i expect an Trinity win.

yeah. I think Duane had a little affect not much but he had some on Devin Returning back to Texas because the last time i talk to him the story was really looking bright for him in Palmdale. But happy to have him back in a Kountze Uniform. Most People will be shocked at the way he has Matured since he left. He was known to Be the Uncoachable kid with Potential. I think he will be used more as an ATH to start off with the Lions. I'm Sure Coach Stewart will get the ball in his Hands some way.

Kountze is the Team to Beat Now with Bray Back. IMO would have the Best Starting Five around. Too many Weapons. You have a Shooter, Good Ball Handler. Good Post Players and Great OutSide Forward.

Yeah Kountze should be back at the Top with Bray back. Line up will be crazzy. Zay McDaniel Showed that he can carry the team at PG this Summer David Johnson Shooting Machine Now he won't get any attention at all. Light em up Roman Walker Name Says it all with Bray back he can move outside. Demarcus Tealer This Kid does not have much Exposure but Can Bang and Dominant. Devin Bray Controlling the Boards and New Waverly have not Seen him Yet... ;D

Basketball Team will win state as far as football. They will put him at QB or RB.

Come Down to Kountze Open Gym is still like it use to be. Just to name some players that play on occasion. Tramine Hancock Keithan Hancock C.J. Busby Freddie Haynes Roman Walker Gabriel Mattox Fred Boykin Philip Coffey Jarvis Benard Zay McDaniel just to name a few> and every now and then we get players that come down from Beaumont area.

AS for Shaq. He does not shoot the ball much but its like he knows when to pull up and shoot or when he comes off a screen. Memorial should do pretty good this year. They have ok Size for 5A but its not Big Enough. If they can Put the time in on Defense they might Surprise Some Folks Come Feb-Mar

so Whats the deal with C.J. Busby and Freddie Haynes? they were suppose to attend Lamar and Hoop but from what i can see thats not gonna happen.

Yes I am Joking it would be Sweet though. I think LU would be the Favorite in SLC If it did happen. that would put lamar with some of the Best when they go to Recruit.

Yes Shaquille White i saw for the First time playing with the P.a. Heat. against Kountze. He is very agressive and can run the floor true PG and Lamar should be all over him but i'm sure they won't get him.
