Yea I agree to some extent but the best shooter on the team was in foul trouble thru out the game Soph Zay McDaniel don't sleep on him and Sweet Lefty Jack Mcknight could play tomorrow vs Silsbee if not they still have a whole season. I expect my Lions to get back to Austin along with Silsbee out of 3a. You don't get to austin with 3 good players sorry H-J.

Well I' predicted ktz to WIN AND THEY CAN'T HELP THE BAD GAME THE REFS CALLED WITH 4 STARTERS FOULING OUT AND STILL WITHOUT 2 PLAYERS DUE TO INJURY I'M NOT THE ONE TO TALK ABOUT THE REFS BUT THEY MESSED UP BIG TIME. AS FAR AS H-J THEY ARE GOOD AND EXPECT THEM TO DO GREAT THINGS BUT KTZ IS THE BETTER TEAM ON A NEUTRAL FLOOR. IMO.

Great Game Atmosphere. I Think H-J is very Good at what they do. When they are hustling and showiing intenseness they are very hard to beat. My Lions dug ourselves in a hole early in the game with Turnovers which should not of happen but its still early in the season. Roman Walker had 6 pts which was an off night for him Milton Williams carried the load with about 20. Both teams shot the ball horrible but overall good game Jarvis Bernard is a heck of a player for his size and the Hawks were flying all over the court Kountze will be okay Zay McDaniel Stud Soph was in foul trouble throughout the game with 3 fouls in the 1st quarter and picked up his 4th when he returned in the 3rd. Domingo smith PG fouled out in the 3rd. in the 4th Roman Walker David Johnson and Milton Williams all starters fouled out. Still without Jack McKnight due to Sprained ankle should be back next week though.

Kountze should be okay with 5 Starters back on O and 4 back on D. Jared Howard and and Freshman Quarterback Jamizon Powell should carry the load i look at my lions in 4th looking peeking at a Playoff spot. All depends on how much Jared Howard can carry.

Great Job by the Lions on the win. Still a long way from getting back to austin. but saw great things from Zay McDaniel only a Soph.. and Roman Walker did what he was Expected Great Defense by Milton Williams. Once we get everybody shooting well and driving to the lane we will be okay.

can't wait to see what we will look like next year 3 Offensive Linemen Returning and Fullback Jared Howard Returning Quarterback Situation will be a ? I think 3 or 4 could be back on D.

A couple of NW players Should still be in football they (NW) play Hardin this Friday and the Kountze/NW game is set for the 25th on a Tues i Think. Im Postive its not this Friday UT.

Got a chance to See Cleveland Get at it with my lions and they were no joke. Return most of their team to. I'm going with Cleveland Hands down.

There is No way Jarvis Struggled against Kountze in the Scrimmage. Yes i am a Kountze Fan and I would say Jarvis is a better all around player than Roman Because of his outside ability. Roman is a greater finisher around the basket but his shot was not dropping. Jarvis Did The best he could of done going against the Lions because they were focused in on him and H-J had a Guy Step up i hear is Coach Sutherlands son not sure thought and he went for at least 20

Ok. ;D Anything I say is just to Make the game even more wanting to go watch. Both Teams will be at the Top of Their Districts and Will Make a Run for Austin. As Far as my lions we get everyone back Monday and get ready for L-Train Tues.

I would not call it trash talking when they (H-J ) calls a KOUNTZE TEAM GARBAGE. but Kountze can play with H-J and everyone knows that but you have to keep the games interesting..

Great Game. The hawks are very well coached. The Lazeek you should not find it hard to believe. The Lions were also without 3 Starters Defensive MVP of there District Milton Williams also PG Domingo Smith and Wing Shooter Jack Mcknight those 3 starters. J.J Turner and Devon Wise will bring Great Energy of the Bench. As Far as H-J #33 Shot the Ball lights out and Jarvis was As Good As it gets. Roman played Good at Spurts but not much from behind the arc.

well the only way to find out is to play the game i'm sure last year no one thought kountze would beat silsbee but they did so thats why the game is played. I'm sure kountze will be the underdog this year against them ( Silsbee) and that is fine with us we will still come out and play because that is Kountze Basketball.

It will be like a practice. So not much to worry about that. I'm Sure Coach Joubert and Sutherland will just be looking at the players they know will play Varsity Ball which won't be many. But I'm Sure Zay McDaniel Roman and Jarvis will give the fans something to see.

Gus who???? Scrimmage Thursday at Lions Den. Not sure what time maybe 5. I think the Kountze Silsbee matchup will be a good one just like last year and the past couple of years. I'm going to say whoever wins it will be by less than 4 pts.
