Kountze lost to Newton last night. Was Missing Devin Bray and Roman Walker messed his knee up but they said he will be ok and Milton Williams another starter out of town. but Kountze didn't come to play in the 1st half and fell short by 6. Newton his a very good team if they can get some depth they will be a threat come Ball Season and Ktz was not as deep as last week but had some good shooters and that will be a very strong core Kountze will have this year.

well stuff changes everyday. Devin Bray played with the Kountze Summer League team did not start but they are that deep. So i guess he is not going anywhere.

kountze Crushed Bmt Kelly tuesday night by a good 45. They are 10-12 deep and look very good. also Newton looked good at moments pretty good PG and the big boy gets his..

yea E.C. is not going to be very strong this year. No T.T. no winning. I would love to see Kountze and H-J meet up next year because these seem to be the two best 1-3a schools in the area but Silsbee is very good to they did not have to starters to kick off the Summer League in kountze Nick walters and shannon Robinson... but they look pretty good. and There Jv Team knocked off Hardin Varsity. Ktz will walk thru district

Saw them last night. The Point Guard is the Best player on the team along with the big 6-7 guy. Couldn't Really see if they had a shooter but they are pretty good. They take on Kounze Varsity next Tuesday at 8..

I know the Gilmores are not going to help you or your in trouble. They went to kountze and the younger one has potential to be pretty good but the older Gilmore doesn't have the legs to play and the skills are probaly not there either...

Livingston will change this District they don't have much Basketball skills but they are very Quick and Smart. they will make the playoffs.. along with Ozen Central Livingston then it goes Vidor Nerderland and the rest is up for grabs.

Yes Buna this is not the year they are going to be young but have talent instead of kids that can't play don't be surprise to see the cougars make a run at the playoffs but i think they will miss by 2 or 3 games.

I will get to see them in action soon they are in the Kountze Summer League along with likes of Silsbee, Lumberton ,West Hardin, Hardin, just to name a few.

what are they looking like i know they have the big guy coming back.

why did not Kountze get in this. They put it on Hardin this past thursday.

Kountze did Lose the Gilmore Boys. They do have players that will step up though. They will be very strong up front with 2 outstanding Linebackers back 4 year Varsity Player{Jack Garret} and all District Pick Milton Williams then the next hot spot will be Defensive End they lost 2 starters at this position but the players steping up is just as good.

Not sure if it will be a surprise. I'm Taking the Copeland Oilers..lol to win the District he will be too much not enough talent in the district.

JaCoby Carrington Dontae Raymond Adam Davis James Green Not much more had a O.k JV Team but none that will make a difference at the Varsity Level East Chambers will be down a little this year without a guy to get to the hole.

I will say i'm a pretty close source to the team and it is a Fact that Bray will not be Putting on a Kountze Lion Uniform next season. It is rumored that St. Pius will suit him up but its not a fact yet.

I don't think Anahuac Will come on top. They have already faced Kountze in 7 on 7 basically what Wac Do is throw the ball and Kountze beat them 3 to 1 without Key players in the Secondary. No One on Kountze Schedule will run the ball so the air game better work out.

Kountze will finish the season 9-1. They have two kids coming out Roman Walker 6-3 will play Receiver and Quarterback and another Senior that started on the D-Line his Sophmore Year but didn't play last year. They have Milton Williams and Jared Tank Howard to carry the load at Runningback and Domingo Smith and Roman Walker taking the snaps.

I like Kingwood park and H-J in this Tournament KP is very well coached and was very young this past year I do believe they did not have one senior.

Dontae Barnes will not hurt the lions. He IMO was hurting the lions throughout the beginning of the season. He just Didn't have any love for the game and I'm not sure but don't they let you only play 4 years of High School ball if that is so he would be done with Sports.

No. Roman Played on the Freshman team last year, the varsity Squad was pretty much loaded and it helped him become the player he is now. The only thing holding him back is playing Defense if he can work on it and get in Shape throughout the year. He will be playing D1 Ball and not Sitting the Bench..

Why Didn't Lamar Recruit Keithan Hancock from Kountze He is Lights out from 3pt range.. and Could of put lamar over the Top this year.
