I GUESS 22-3A WAS JUST THIS WEAK.. IVE SEEN KINGWOOD PARK AND THEY ARE ABOUT AS GOOD AS BRIDGE CITY... NOW IVE SAW CLEVELAND PLAY ONE TIME WHEN KOUNTZE TRAVELED TO CLEVELAND AND THEY ARE A YOUNG TEAM WITH SOME GOOD SIZE AND LONG PLAYERS. THEY REMIND ME JUST LIKE SILSBEE GUARDS QUICK AND POST PLAYERS TALL AND LONG. COLDSPRING LAST YEAR WAS VERY GOOD AND I WOULD IMAGINE THEY ARE STILL THE SAME. BUT I'M GOING WITH 21-3A... I THINK SILSBEE AND HJ ARE TOO MUCH.

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE.. NEWTON WOULD PLAY THIRD PLACE OUT OF DISTRICT 21 OR 2ND PLACE OUT OF DISTRICT 22 THEN WOULD PLAY WINNER OUT OF DISTRICT 21 OR 2ND PLACE OUT OF DISTRICT 24 OR 3RD PLACE OUT OF DISTRICT 23. SO EAST CHAMBERS OR KOUNTZE COULD POSSIBLY BE PLAYING WODEN IN THE 1ST ROUND.

I've seen the bracket and Newton would have to beat the 2nd Seed in 24-2A which we still don't know who it will be yet. I think it will be East Chambers and I think Newton is Quick enough to slow T.T. down but if Kountze is the 2nd Seed I don't see Newton getting to regionals because Kountze will outsmart them.

well i was at the game. I can say that kountze pressed the whole 1st Half with the 1st and 2nd group playing 4 minutes each in each quarter, then after halftime they got back in halfcourt Defense{which is the same they run full court} Then in the 4th Quarter they sat back and played 2-3 Zone... Kountze is just Deep and Buna isn't any good at basketball this year. They are also young and will get a little better next year.

WHO HAS THE BETTER TEAMS HEADED INTO THE POSTSEASON. 23 2A NEWTON CORRIGAN CAMDEN WODEN 24-2A KOUNTZE EAST CHAMBERS HARDIN i THINK THAT 24-2A IS BETTER I'M NOT SURE ABOUT HARDIN BUT NONE OF THE 3 TEAMS IN 23-2A COULD HANDLE TRAMAIN THOMAS OR KOUNTZE PRESSURE.

YES OZENFINEST IS RIGHT. BREON JOHNSON IS THE REAL DEAL. I THINK THE THING THAT MAKES HIM BETTER THAN HOWARD IS HIS ABILITY TO KNOW THE GAME, IVE SEEN HOWARD PLAY AND HE RELYS ON JUST PLAYING THE GAME, HE CAN'T SHOOT AS GOOD AS JOHNSON EITHER AND FROM THE FREETHROW LINE LETS NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT HOWARD, BUT BOTH PLAYERS ARE VERY GOOD AND WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED TO SEE BOTH OF THEM PLAYING AT THE NEXT LEVEL.

I WAS SAYING I WOULD LOVE TO SEE NEWTON AND BIG SANDY PLAY AT THE MONTAGNE FRIDAY.

In Warren Kountze played great Defense got into the heads of warren players and did not shoot the ball well.. and won by 20. so Good Defense and Good shooting will give them a 30 point win...

congrats Hawks.. Would love to see SETX represented in 2A, 3A and 4A in Austin again.

These two teams have there own rivarly with each other being less than 15 minutes away from each other. I thought that Kountze played very well last time and shot the ball bad, but that doesn't happen in Kountze so i'm saying Warren 58 Kountze 87

Saw them last year when they were ranked in the top 10. Went to play Kountze in the playoffs and i Agree they were playing fundamental basketball but could not handle the press seemed like they never saw it in the Season until that night. But they lost alot from last years team and Kountze lost alot from last years team. I would think they are about compared to Dewyeville. Execept i don't think they have a player as good as Kevin Bland in the paint..

I think that Kountze was soon to have a off night..to badd it came in E.C. I think it all depends on E.C roll players if they don't hit shots then kountze will win by 10..

East Chambers won't compete with Kountze next year After Carrington and Raymond they have a Soon to be Sophmore Davis{T.T Cousin and NO one else} unless Carrington turns into another Version of Tramain Thomas they will get Murdered by Kountze..+ the Difference will be NO BALL HANDLERS FOR E.C.

Kountze Brings back the Whole Starting Lineup that started most of the season but it changed a couple of times. Roman Walker and Devin Bray round out the Juniors and Domingo Smith, Milton Williams,J.J Turner and Jack McKnight round out the Seniors and + Sophmore Zay McDaniel.. I think Kountze may lose 2 or 3 games next year if they play the same Schedule but they could play a couple more 4A teams to get some Compettion...

Silsbee by 10. Depth will run over Jasper just as it did in Kountze.

I think it will be Jasper i haven't seen Orangefield this year but i like the team Jasper had when they came to kountze and played. This Bailey Kid is something special and i think he will step up and carry his team into the playoffs..

2nd time around for Coach West and Coach Joubert. I think it will be a pretty good game kountze didn't play too good last time in Kountze and should pick up a 20 point win in Anahuac...

they should go by most points scored.. I think Kountze would get the 1st seed. They've only put up 100 twice but should do it again when they play Buna at home. and have been averaging about around 80 a game..
