I am a bowhunter and wanting to buy a rangefinder. Does the ones with the angle feature a must? I dont want to break the bank, just looking for a good product. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am wanting to plant a food plot consisting of peas,oats,turnips,and clover. Is it too early to plant? Will this mixture work?

fished the La. jetties this evening with not much luck. Caught 3 keeper trout, fished mirrodine, glo-chart. assasins, and live shrimp.

are the jetties still hot or have they slowed down?

About how long will Dolly mess up the water and/or fishing at Sabine?

Eventhough the wind has been gail force, i headed out saturday. The water was in better shape than expected. We caught 5 keeper trout and 2 keeper redfish. Only caught 1 trout (18 inches) at the jetties. I sure hope they get hot soon. The fishing section here has been slow, so I thought i would report. Have a good day!

I generally use live shrimp, but was wanting to try the new Gulp Alive Shrimp, Does anyone have any takes on these?? Also, can you use these under a popping cork? Whats the best color for trout?

I want to fish Sabine this weekend, but with the wind this week and the front moving in late Friday, would Sunday be a better option than Saturday?

Heard they were doing some dredging at the Sabine jetties. Any truth to this? if so how long would it mess up the fishing? ???

Just got my boat ready to go as well. As far as the jetties go, the sheepshead and drum should be running now, maybe a little too early for the trout yet. I bet with this wind it is rough out there.

wasn"t able to get back out before the rain, but hope the weather men are wrong.

Fished sabine monday with a couple of buddies and fared well. Boxed 20 trout by 8:30. Water was clearing up well, and that light north wind made it even sweeter. Depending on the rain, im heading out again a.s.a.p.
