Jacob Pitts Nederland P/1B/OF/DH Bats Left Throws Left Height: 6'3" Weight: 180 lbs. 2010 20-4A 1st Team All District DH; 2010 Academic All District; 3 year letterman. Profile on Perfect Game: [Hidden Content] SFA Evaluation in October: [Hidden Content] Currently playing Varsity Basketball for Nederland.
Is he going to be there on Monday? That is the place to be right now to get seen. He'll have every chance to get seen, I know it's during basketball season but it sure would be worth it. Coach Fackler and his guys have a good thing working over there.

And 4 year letterman SS Wayne Stanley. Lumberton will be an interesting team to watch. Lots of experience all around.
I heard that Taylor Townsend is back at Lumberton. I figure him to be one of the starting pitchers and infielders.
Lumberton will need pitching, but then again what school doesn't? Every team would love extra pitchers.

Nederland's Forney to play Football and Basketball at Lamar
Agree with his size and skill he has to have the coaching staff at Lamar excited about his commitment. Or was it? I guess if is unless something better come along. ::) I know he is probably only 17 but some things you can think but don't say. I wish Forney the best and may he become one of the hardest workers on the Lamar football team.
If he does he'll be a stud. -
Jeremy Johnson expected to sign with Lamar football
AJ25 replied to coachacola's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
He's still got to come in and get the work done.. He can't come in here knowing he's the top dog and such. He needs to come in with a 'walk-on' mentality and bust his butt from day 1 and the talent will show on the field and Lamar will be much better. -

What pro organization will be playing there?

Continue to list '11 Seniors that're unsigned at this point. Lots of great camps for these guys to go to before the season starts, including Coach Fackler's camp in BC on Monday.
This guy has the body size of a tight end to me. He's fairly tall, 6'4 I'd say. But when I saw him it didn't look like he was over 240-250. Good hard workers come out of the Brook, and if SFA and Sam both offered him, he must be worth it.
From the Enterprise "The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Brock is a two-time first-team all-District 21-5A lineman who projects as an offensive tackle in college." Someone hit the nail on the head with his size. lol -
Coach Woodard and Roc must see something they like, should we question them?
Im with Admin. He is a big kid. I've seen him play once and played against him once. He has the size. If they can change his "bad work ethic" that people claim he has.. Then he can make it with that size... As far as basketball, I've heard he's pretty salty on the hard wood.
So, why do they have more money than everyone else? They provide the same basic product and have basically the same general revenue streams. What fills their pockets? TV contract? Merchandising?
Every, and I mean EVERY game sells out. I don't think many other professional teams can say that. They make an unbelieveable amount of money off of season ticket holders, sponsers.. They have a sports network. They recieve more community support than any other franchise just about as well. All of those, plus the GM's being loaded, all contribute. -
