That is great . I talked to someone last night and they stated that Lamar is getting luxury boxes built starting today.
Where are they going to build them?
They already had some cement up. The biggest one is for the person who gave the money for the luxury boxes... not sure who that is.
So these are going to be ground level luxury boxes?
YEP!
How tall are these going to be? Like two stories with the top story being even with the hill and the bottom story on ground level?

 3. Jealous of all my friends on the team now! But great for Lamar
 4. Looks good! The tents should sell like hot cakes.
 5.
As we wait for Earl to get picked, Buchholz has a 3 hit shutout going against the Rangers, it's tied 0-0 in the 7th.
Threw great, 7th inning came back and bit him. Still through a great game, career high 10 ks.
 6. Celtics. It'll be Celts and Cavs in the East finals.. And if the Cavs get by, then the Cavs win it.
 7.

Has Laird signed yet?
Not yet but I have heard he has some offers. He is a junior though. At least I think.... The rosters on here doesn't list it...
He's a senior. Has offers.. Takin his time making a decision.
 8. I still think Jasper is EAST Texas, so I'm going with Felts and Bingham.
 9. 13 year veteran, most of which have been in the Minor Leagues, is getting another shot with the Redsox due to injuries.. He is 4-4 with the Redsox so far with 2 HR's (one of which tied the game in the 8th inning lastnight), a Walk-off hit lastnight, a walk, and just threw out possibly the fastest guy in baseball at the plate, Julio Borbon. 31 year old has played in 6 organizations.. This success obviously won't continue like it is right now, but it's great to see a guy play 13 years in the minor leagues to fight to achieve this dream. His quote in the paper after his walk off hit last night.. When hard work meets opportunity, anything can happen. [Hidden Content]
 10.
Laird probally hasn't signed anywhere because of his velocity. Fastball around 78-79.
You're way off bud. Laird can and does throw mid to upper 80s. He has several schools looking at him, and I do believe he has a few offers. He's focusing on the season and worrying about college ball later, as he should be.
 11. Any updates on the posted players? Who's signed and who hasn't? I'm putting together a list of tryouts that I can send in a PM to everyone who asks.
 12. LC-M's Clayton Ehlert tosses 4 hit complete game against Rice, giving up 0 earned runs. Final was 7-1 [Hidden Content]
 13.
If anyone is looking to extend their baseball career, look into Lubbock Christian University. They compete in NAIA Division I, Sooner Athletic Conference, arguably the toughest NAIA Conference in the Nation. LCU is currently #7 in the nation and has 2 World Series Championships, 1983 and 2009. If you would like more information about the school or the team, please PM or email me. Feel free to check out the LCU Baseball homepage. [Hidden Content]
Just to give a little more info on this school, this is a TOP tier talent university. The roster usually has several D1 transfers, and athletes who should be playing at the D1 level but lack academic requirements. This would be a great university to attend.
 14.

who are the unsigned kids in jasper
no one unsigned in jasper 5 seniors all but sowell know where they are going and sowell has several options..
Good news
 15.
He'll have two years left to play.  Does he want to sit out a year and play at another BCS school or does he want to play right away at the FCS level?
That's a tough decision. Because I'm sure you could ask anyone that has seen him play, he has the size, speed, and ability to have an NFL career.. It's just putting all those things together and playing every down of every game. He can't do that at UT. He could go to another and sit out a year and get stronger and more agile, or come to Lamar and finish up his two years and be done.. It's tough to move from this level to the NFL. It happens, but not very often at all.
 16.
See it announced out of Austin this morning that Ben Wells will be transferring at the end of the spring semester.  Any chance he might come back to Lamar?
It'd be great, but doubtful. Ben has the ability to play in most secondaries in the nation, he just happened to be playing in one of the best in the nation which is what made him second string. Time will tell though.
 17. How updated is this list? I know Texas State is missing at least one recruit.. Travis Jones, Lon Morris College.. Was committed and about to sign with Baylor until a McDonalds All American chose Baylor over Texas.
 18.
Kilgore College Offensive lineman Ryan Jones has been named as an Academic All American by the National Junior College Athletic Association. Jones is a 6'4 sophomore from Kirbyville. Ryan started for Lamar at left tackle as a walk on in their Spring Game.
To me, Academic All American is just a big of an achievement as regular All American.. It means you're earning that scholey on and off the field.
 19. He's gotta pick up that average.. But he's hitting real well for the most part.
 20.
It's over, Mets win in 20.
Even better news, Astros gained a game in the Central! lol
 21. He did very well when he played us, solid ball player and a very bright future.
 22.
This is how Jose Canesco blew his arm out, he pitched a game like this.
Well, he had 13254 inch biceps, probably tried to throw too hard and his arm was too strong for his shoulder lol
 23.

Sac fly in the top of the 19th. Mets up 1-0 goin' into the bottom of the 19th. Please don't score Cards lol
1-1  20 th
Mathis having trouble making an adjustment on the mound, haha, missing up and away every time. He's throwin' it in there at a smoldering 80 mph though
 24.
The Tigers tied the game again in the top of ninth when leftfielder Bridge City's Johnny Dishon launched a solo homer off of Hubbard. read more > [Hidden Content]
I think that makes 4 HR's this year.. Half of his hits are HR's if i'm not mistaking.
 25.
The one who has signed is Eloy Barela, with 100% scholarship to William Baptist College in Arkansas. Andrew Cole, Aaron Jones, John Ross and Trevor "t-ro" Robertson have not signed with anyone.
Is that NAIA?
