1. It's probably the 4th or 5th straight Celtics game that I've seen on ESPN, and every game the commentators are raving about him. Toughest/Most underrated player in the game. How many years until he final gets an All-Star nod?

I surely hope none of the money comes from cutting out those cool pizza cutters they give out at ballgames.  I was hoping to get a few more for Christmas presents.  Maybe I'll deposit more money so they can do both.
:D  Those are great.  I got a free Education First pizza cutter a few years ago at a game and I use it all the time!
Those pizza cutters do work like a charm..
 5. There is nothing I can say better than what Jason already has.. that is terrific advice All I can say is DO NOT rush coming back, that could ruin his career. Do everything at the pace the doctor says to do, they've dealt with the injury before and have experience with it, you don't. Just take your time and work as hard as you can. Trust me, there is a place for him in college baseball if he wants it bad enough.
 6. Looks like they'll have one of the bigger ones in the nation.  :o
 7. There is no excitement around LU b-ball right now.. It's all focused on football and bringing it back, so most of the money is going to that. It's hard to say that the Montagne NEEDS anything more than a face lift on the outside. It's the biggest arena in the southland with top notch facilities. They jumbo tron is one of the few things that needs to go, but it still does it's job and doesn't need replacing right now. Looking over at a $1 million + scoreboard just completes another aspect of a terrific SLC stadium.

If they win by 20, you make this seem post, but only to talk bad about UT. The only thing that matters is they played great and won BIG, like they should've.
 9.
They're selling naming rights to the coaches office now? What's next? Can I make it the ForeverADog 16 yard line hash mark??? Lol haha
No that was sold to AJ25.. 18 yd line is still available I do believe.
 10.

I've said it all along, there's going to be a big surprise on this stadium.. Just no one knows where.
what are somethings that you think they might do?
I'm still thinking endzone seats for general admission. Face lift the the Montagne. Special run outs.. That type of stuff. Or maybe an extra score board.

 12.
I talked to someone today at the ticket office about seating in the south end zone and he told me they are not putting seats there.  That section will be a handicap accessible area.  He then told me they may expand in the stadium in 3 to 5 years and add seating in the end zone at that time.
So he knows the same amount as everyone else..
 13.
Looks like the rise and run of hill/stands in the south endzone would come up just under the second floor of the athletic complex and then skirt the building on the East and West above it (then above in the middle).  Sort of like the opening in one FIU's stadium endzones.  Might just be like that for future contingency plans.   [Hidden Content]
They could do something much like UT has.. And build the stands as high as the athletic complex and leave a tunnel through the middle of them for the players to run through. It would make for one heck of an entrance.
 14. It's obvious to think that he's a sure fire guy to receive a lot of playing time, but he has to get here and work. He can't show up expecting to walk all over these guys because of the offers he received out of high school. I play baseball with guys that received offers from SLC, Big Ten, and Pac 10 schools, and they're at the bottom of our pitching staff because they don't work.

 16. Wow.. How did they pull this
 17.
Adam Broussard is at SFA and i said i thought he was at Angelina i didnt say he was.
Yeah, he is at SFA. Walked on there and made the team, but one of his hours didn't transfer so he has to wait until next year.

However, most of these guys played in these exact schemes at navarro or close forms of the spread at other schools. They are already familiar with everything but the facilities.
Yes, the Navarro guys. I'm talking about the Dean College, College of the Sequioas, Blinn runs a very different offense, etc..
High school guys have to learn a new offense also. Of course, most don't play right away, but still, JUCO players normally come in better than the HS players we get.
That's what I'm saying.. They have to learn a new offense, plus they are expected to contribute right away.
 19.
Well yeah, I think there is a chance CUSA will implode. I think Rice and Tulane drops football. New Florida conference take CUSA teams east of UAB. Monroe days as a FBS are numbered. That leaves the teams I mentioned.
Tulane isn't dropping it. They've had their best two recruiting classes in the history of their program the last two years. The had 21 true freshman start throughout this year. They are young and experienced and should come close to .500 this year, if not reach that mark. They'll be in a bowl game within the next two years. And Rice just went 9-3 the year before last, why would you drop that program?

 22.
I know Keith Faulke from Huffman in the 90's plays pro somewhere... not sure where anymore or even if Huffman is considered SETX lol. He was on the 04 Red Sox that won the World Series...
Yup, he was on the mound with the last out. But, he retired in 08.
 23. You just have to understand the whole aspect with JUCO players. There are ups and downs. UPS They're past the high school level, and have at least one year of experience against better athletes at every position. There is no down spots for the most part at juco. More experience, and better coaching = better players DOWNS Only 2-3 years of eligibility left compared to high school players which have 4. Usually close to if not completely developed athletes, with not as much upside. Have experienced 1-2 years of a certain playing style, and usually will have to change their style immediately to make an impact.
Why does he have to red shirt? I thought that was a J.C. His film on rivals looks impressive, he seems like he is capable of delivering some hard hits!
Duh, college at the end of Dean College is a give away. Ha my fault
