It's all about the [b]$$$$[/b]. LU is very similar to the Houston Astros. Afraid to spend money. They decided in the 80s to be a primarlily basketball school, and they had a good run. But it's over now. If they ever want to get back to where they were, they have to fork up the money. Honestly though, this is now a football, baseball, basketball school. In that order. I don't think Tubbs main focus is basketball right now, nor should it be.

If you mean Shortstop.. They have a rookie named Tommy Manzella. He's the same mold as Adam Everett, except with a better bat. Plus, he comes 10 times more cheap than Miggy would have been, and he's YOUNG.

Tech is a terrible team.. If Texas loses we have things to worry about.

A parking garage would be perfect. All of this stuff is great, but when will the school receive a face lift? It seems like a little face lift at least on the outside of the building shouldn't be too terribly pricey. After seeing so many schools across the state, Lamar is definitely one of the least visually appealing schools.

Surely we're not the only ones bright enough to think of this stuff.. It's just money that's slowing the process I assume. There is only so much parking available around Lamar's campus. They would have to buy lots of houses to create more room.

Looks good! They really have to get a move on with the athletic facility though.

[/quote] He also didn't play very much, it's hard to get anything going when you have 6 AB a week. But he couldn't stay healthy, just as Vlad didn't last year, so they're even there as well.

Need positions, stats, height, weight, etc.. on these guys
