My favorite 2 A Days memory is the excitement of the very first practice. December-July you bust your butt everyday to get ready for the next season, and the first day everyone has a great attitude. Whether or not players like to admit it, everyone is excited about the first day.

Nederland and Lamar's Justin Walker has moved from Middle Class A to High A, and is now a member of the Dayton Dragons. Good luck.. -

Looks like Shon Landry's playing days may be over. He has placed himself on the voluntary retired list after getting off to a 1-18 start to his professional career. [Hidden Content] -

Carpenter I think will see more time at D-END, but i'm not real sure about that. When he was on varsity troy played TE/DE last year

2 of the 3 starters we lost are playing Division 1 football now, do the math. lol And our next best returner is not playing on the line this year do to a neck injury. So from what I know, that leaves Senior Joey Swetland (played a good bit last year), Senior Daniel Herman (who also played a good bit), Tight end Ty Choate (started all year), Tight end/Tackle? Caleb Schexnider (started all year). That means there will be atleast 3 new members of the offensive line this year that were on JV last year. One of which is Hunter Howden's (Tulane) little brother, Carter Howden. Last I heard he was playing center.

my buddy j-ward from lumberton needs another ring.. -
He'll be fine, it just depends on having a pretty much whole offensive line.

who will have the best offensive line/defensive line next year

That's a 6'2 average and a 257 average. A little off from your 6'5 280 lol. -

Heard a lot of "things" about Vidor's O-line, so they're probably pretty big. -
I don't see how you're saying veteran players are having great years? Everyone knows Berkman is having a down year, Pudge is having a below average season compared to most catchers. Carlos is costing us $19 million this year, the least he could do is hit 19 homeruns, and he can't get there yet. Tejada is the only one having a decent year. The only one. Wandy is costing us $2 million and he has been the most consistent.
-
The Cubs have Aramis back, they've only gotten better since he came back. The cards can only stay down for so long. We don't have Berkman, and he hasn't been that great when he was healthy. We're paying Lee $19 million to hit 16 homeruns. We lose Tejada at the end of the year anyway. Like it or not, the wild card winner will not come out of the Central. Only 1 team out of the central will make the playoffs, because the NL East is too strong. The Astros are the 3rd best team in their division. You make think differently, but Miguel Tejada is not going to get us into the playoffs.

Thank god I was racking my brain all day wondering what your cousin would say about this...lmao It's not like his cousin pitches in the pros or anything..

How about a vote of confidence from anybody? No? Oh well at least yalls jokes are cute... And so are ya'lls new helmets.. let's see if ya'll can get a W in them. Quit bragging about yourself, get out there and play if you want people to find out who you are.

who will be the district MVP in your district?
AJ25 replied to holdup's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Not seing it. I know Hughes was a Soph. last year, but I just didn't see anything that impressed me to build on. DeJohn on the other hand had skills. I thought he was sorely under rated. Ryan I think has a better scrambling ability, as you saw him run for close to 100 yards I believe against Livingston. But he has a little ways to go, but he's got time. This year the game will be more dependent on him then it was last year.. I'd easily say over 85% of the time he handed the ball off this past year.
