Lids in the beaumont mall has some great LU hats. All the LU shirts I own though were given to me at games.

So the winner of this regional won't advance to the World series?

Here's a little advice buddy, get your butt off this board and into the weight room. Or maybe the track to maintain that amazing 4.54 40 you apparently run.
-
I've played with kids that never ever saw the field and went to camps. Big deal. It means nothing. And no one at LC-M runs a 4.4. I know way too many people over there and all of them have laughed that when I asked. Sorry to burst your bubble. And LC-M will be good in 2 or 3 years, not this year. Look at Coach Credeur in Lumberton.. first year 4-6, second year 11-2 with the same players. Give it time over there, and they'll start winning. And also, every school's weight room is packed.

You must not ump at Babe Ruth. Speaking for most players, we have a great time with the umpires and joke consistently throughout the game. Very few times have I seen an arguement break out..

The most important thing to a receiver is being able to catch a ball. Who cares if you run a 4.3, if you can't catch the ball.. it doesn't matter. And the next important thing is running a great route. I've seen receivers at the varsity level that run a 4.9 40 burn fast corners by running crisp routes. Also, one thing at the high school level that a receiver has to be is soft spoken. They need to be a team player, and realize that well over 75% of the time they will not get the ball, and that they need to make a good block. That is another thing that the fans don't catch from the stands. Receivers making their block is a vital part to every good run. If the fans were to watch videos of long TD runs, every time you will see a receiver making a great block taking their man out of the equation..

who will be the district MVP in your district?

No one outside of LHS knows Ryan Hughes as Chuck. But he will be a much more solid QB this year, he will be much like Dejohn in his 3 year tenure with Lumberton. -
There is a link to lamar's athletic page on the lamar university page, there you can find everything you want.

Well congrats Vidor. Also to add to what Aggies posted, I know for a fact that the baseball program had their own "booster" started 3 years ago. They raised thousands of dollars. When they went to give it to the then new Coach, Reyenga, only a certain amount was going to be allowed to be used for the baseball program. Baseball wise - Lumberton needs a new pressbox in a terrible way, new infield dirt (and for people not involved in baseball, infield dirt is extremely expensive), they need a drainage system, watering system, new fence, and new dugouts. The basketball gym can only brag about a new floor. Everything else is in pretty bad shape. Football field wise, new scoreboard, new pressbox, new concessions, TURF. It has a new track, new restrooms on the home side, and relatively new home bleachers. Where's that tax money going?

The fieldhouse, training room, concessions, etc all need replacing. To be honest though, the fieldhouse does like quite a bit better on the inside though. There has been several upgrades on the inside these past few years. As far as the field, it's one of the best around IMO. The weight room is pretty new, and a pretty good size as well. We basically have 3 practice fields, Idk how many schools can say that. We have great parking. And we've been upgrading equipment. It's a great time to be going through that program, trust me.

I would sign with UT for a bag of seeds and a gatorade. I've heard he signed for as high as 75% and as low as 50%. It's not really our business though.

beat me to it by 4 seconds

Against the Rays today. Dewayne Wise made an amazing play for the first out of the 9th.

It's hard to say that it will stay this way. The Cubs can only get better. Our next 3 series' are the Mets, Cubs, Cards.. If we can win 2-3 from each of those, then this is for real. I'm not sure though. We can get a lot for Tejada, but it's a big risk to trade him. We won't have him next year regardless.. So we'll see what the front office does. We need more pitching!

I thought it was his uncle..

Chase McDonald? I havent heard that but Ill look into it for ya. Im pretty sure Asher will be the starter for this next season. McDonald plays WR.

He always told me he wanted the maroon. Smart decision on his part

That wasn't hard to figure out. : Still not his brother..

Well I still don't see how the fans deserve a winning team. Do they practice 3 hours after school and workout for an 1 and a half during school, 4 days a week? And do the fans go through 2 weeks of 2 a days?? I don't think so.. The only ones that DESERVE a great season is the players and coaches that put the work in. Fans don't see what goes into a football game on Friday night.. They just see the game itself, not the hours of preperation during the week..

how do the fans deserve another winning team?

Lumberton vs. Hamshire Fannett Week 0 Predictions?
AJ25 replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Lumberton played New Caney Bridge City and Cleveland in 2007, and play Hamshire Fannet and Barbers Hill now. Predistrict games go in 2 year contracts.. this is the second year. -
Sean is 6'2'', 235. He runs a 4.7 forty and a 4.1 shuttle. He powercleans 315, benches 305, and squats around 450. Incredible pass rusher who will definatley have a breakout season this next year. Explosive, aggressive, powerful, and quick. Watch this kid. Thanks for that info, Sean. Thats not Sean.

I pick them to win this district, and then the coach move to a new school lol

I think we're all just kind of assuming he's coming here...
