  1. you guys that are saying they owe the university something.. you seriously think a REGULAR student brings the school the same publicity that a STUDENT athlete brings them?! you have to be kidding me.. i promise most D1 schools are much better known for their sports than academics, and they can thank their student athletes for that. because not near as many ppl would be applying if their teams weren't playing for the championships every year. and if you dont think thats true.. well you know what i'm going to say
  2. which is another reason why this would never happen..
  3. they wouldn't be getting any money regardless. some of these kids come from broken homes, and could NEVER afford a 4 year university. so they'd send that family this huge bill, and never see ANY money! kinda pointless to me.. like someone else said, how many butts do these guys put in their seats? way more than an education costs. thats why a law like this hasn't and will not be passed
  4. with everything they've done so far.. there is no way it would get dropped. its just going to be even worse than expected prolly
  5. rector (00) played great for lumberton. never quit playing the whole game. those pics kinda say a lot.. you have willie (6'8) and josh romano #12 who is maybe 5'8 too big, too fast for lumberton
  6. i expected this
  7. he's gonna be a good one. Had a good sophomore year and is a good fit for the offense that Crosby runs. he is solid. trust me.
  8. Until round three in the playoffs when Aaron Ripkowski slaps him around the field like a ragdoll... ;D whoever that is

  13. Gotcha, must've just looked shorter behind those big lineman... ya'll do have some big ones. tall lineman are not something us daytonites are too used to lately. lol yea but ya'll made up for it with cody no kidding... our rb at the beginning of the year looked like Cody had a little kid in the backfield with him. yeah i remember him from our scrimmage against ya'll he was every bit of 5'4 hah maybe!! how big is hanna's successor ... i think his name is asher?? he's not 6 foot. 5'9-5'10 maybe? he's very strong though. was honorable mention all-district this year as a soph

  18. Y'all need to leave Beard on D and let him wreck!...He could help on O, but he's one of the two Best MLB returning along side of Central's Will Jones he'll play mostly defense.. thats where we'll need him most
