Well as you can see, he is not really scared of WOS, it is BC that terrifies him!!! ;D They obviously need two weeks to prepare for a team that was 0-10 last year!!   The real pressure on him will be the next week at Bridge City when the entire Golden Triangle will be watching and hoping for the 3A Cardinals to put it on him.  He will have a lot more trouble explaining a loss to the Cards than a loss to the Mustangs!   The kids and good people of LC-M deserve better and they will no doubt express their feelings to the powers that be in Bear country.   ;D

if he loses to BC i can only imagine whats going to be said after the loss.

I got a feeling after all the calls that are going to flood in tomorrow, this game will be back on, its no reason why it shouldnt.  8)

i talked to the HD coaches and they said it will be a tough game. tenaha lost by just a few to some one that was ranked 1 or 2 i will try and find out

it would have to take something extreme to happen for PAM not to win this game. Looking back at the Central game, im not to mad they lost cause Central is picked by most people to win 20-4A. its the way they lost, trust, I expect that O to be clicking on all cylinders come Sat. I now know they have a Defense finally.  8)

I hope they don't expect WOS to go to their stadium NEXT year!  They need to come to WOS to make up for this year.

I'm not sure I have an opinion on this one. I'm just gonna sit and see if scooter gets to post the rest of the season! Ozen definitely has some athletes, as does PAM. If I had to make a guess at this one, I say that the Titans are closer to winning a game than Ozen. However, if the Panthers come out as fired up as they did against West Brook, they may be able to suprise the Titans and make it an interesting game.

Yes, it was very sad to see Moody not step up at the Community Pep Rally like he has done in the previous years to talk about the team and the upcoming year. They are a young team and it will probably be a very tough year but you have to start somewhere. He should have at least showed the leadership of an AD and said they have been working hard and they were going to go out EVERY WEEK and do the best that they can....win or lose! Instead he goes on about how young they are and tells parents at a meeting "that they aren't using mouthpieces this year, he is giving them pacifers." He has to give the respect to the kids, coaches and community in order to receive it!

since BC won i guess that had him shaking in his boots. 

You know if you think about it, if the lcm staff starts preparing wednesday for bridge city that will give them nine days of preparation for that game.  By bridge city playing on saturday the cards will only have five days to prepare.  I think Coach Stump should cancel the game with lcm because of lack of preparation time.  Here is another scenario, if Hurricane Ike and Tripical Storm Josephine come close to the gulf the lcm coach may be able to get out of playing even more games.

I have a friend thats from there, the team is FAST. they got alot of skill positions players that have wheels. Their suppose to be pretty darn good this year from what I hear.

I'm just having a hard time understanding this, and im not even from there but ive been to a few Orange Bowls. In 21 years of watching HS football in SETX I have never seen one time that a LCM vs WOS football game has been cancelled when playable. I cant remember it happening.

 There is no rivalry here.  WOS has owned this series,LCM has to win more than once not counting the forfeit to make this a rivalry!!!!!  Look if i was coach i would not play this game.  WOS just destroyed the team picked to win LCM's district.

LCM always play WOS hard every year that i can remember.

I dont think Brooks would go for playing WOS twice but anything is possible. I'd pay to see it though 

I personally felt this was going to happen, kind of. You gotta look at it in 2 ways---maybe Moody knew he was only going to have 2/3 of his team, not to mention how many starters he would have had back, then on the other hand, just maybe plain and simple he didnt want any part of WO-S. Who wouldnt after the whooping they put on NED. He knows what happened down at NED last Friday, and im sure he was there watching.

IMO---the majority, if not ALL of your players would have been back ready to play on Saturday, LCM been practicing for how long now? and this would have been the first game? Kidding me. WOS would have had more of an excuse not to play LCM. Moody just cost the school alot of revenue (sp), not only LCM but WOS as well. Cross-town rivalry games are something the seniors look forward to. Im pretty sure his players would have wanted to play the game if he wasnt so selfish not to ask them.

If i was the UIL director i would personally make it my business to give Mr. Moody a phone call.

wonder if Tech will be looking at him by seasons end?  perfect size for the spread system.
